Right -- we've been instructed not to contact anyone off of this moldy old rock, but I trust that prayers don't count toward that, as the priests here have already led us plodding through damn near every one in the book, so--
O Lord my God, can you *please* do something about the food in your House? It's unacceptable.

No contact means no contact. Eat your gruel and like it.
No I'm just kidding. Kidding. That was a joke.
But really, I'd love to say I could do something, but the priests can only work with what they have available. You're welcome to try tending the greenhouse better, fish up something different for meat. It's all likely to have a bit of an odd taste at Canaan, sorry to say—side effects of its Resurrection and second death and all—but you can always experiment. Have you tried cooking for yourself? It's a wonderful skill to have. Normally I'd recommend a nice stew for beginners, but... Anyway. Is there still rice around? You could try adding most anything to rice. There's probably some herbs to play with somewhere. I'm sure your necromancers would be thrilled with the effort, too. Good luck!
