my name's Abbey & I use she/her pronouns !! also im currently a minor i guess. just for the next few months. I love all the inscryption characters but impulse decided i make a grimora ask account.

anyways, welcome to the account !! feel free to send an ask for grimora- (or me if you wish to for whatever reason, but be sure to specify you mean me because i'll assume by default the ask is for grimora unless you're specific and blunt about it)- or if you write a character yourself you can always feel free to toss them at her.

Crossovers are totally allowed. I try to include art with my answers and stuff, and I apologise for any difference in quality or for if I were to just up and change how I draw Grimora or in general. I haven't much practice in drawing her yet so I may still be deciding things and all.

When it comes to asks and stuff, please no nsfw.

This account is set post-game where they find themself miraculously alive despite the deletion. Spoilers are likely.

The scrybe chuckled.

"No, no, don't you worry. The other scrybes aren't quite around, but my crypt is right there, as you see."

"Though, of course, I'm sure some others would consider my domain to be a 'field of dirt' regardless."

She sighed, crossing her arms and appearing torn between being bitter and amused.

"You know, once I tried my hand at growing plants here? Leshy's nagging was starting to bother me. But the thing refused to grow an inch! The pot plant he gave me shrivelled up too... And there was that sapling which combusted the moment I put it in the ground. Really now, I can't help it if it's a little bare! I think there's a beauty in it, anyways."

Ah, but she was getting distracted! Chuckling sheepishly, she returned to what had been asked.

"As for my ghouls though, I haven't greeted them quite yet but I'm certain they're here. When you're as sensitised as I am to spirits, it's hard to miss. I think I can see them waiting for me, so I suppose I best be on to say hi! Though I daresay they won't mind meeting you lot either... Perhaps they'll even answer a question or two?"

Her eyes widen for a moment, surprised.

"Leaf? Ah, how long it's been..."

She grins, fangs gleaming in the light as a fond and nostalgic expression takes over her face. Cheerful, she nods and extends a hand to accept the cup.

"But of course I'll be most glad to accept, thank you. Just the smell of it makes me feel better already. Come, let us find someplace more comfortable. I'm not sure what you're doing here again, but we have lots to catch up on, now don't we? We can chat over the tea, dear. Or perhaps even play a game again, if you'd be so kind as to indulge me?"

"Though, I will say now of course that I have yet to hear or see any sign of the others, unfortunately. The horizon's a little blurry and my bridge to the mainland is in a minor state of disrepair. There's not much I can do about that, though, so let's carry on then, now shall we?"

Hello! Good to see you! How are you doing as of right now?

The old scrybe laughs, not cruelly so but clearly rather amused.

"Yes, yes, don't you worry a bit, I hear you loud and clear!"

Letting her hand drop, she answers the question with a smile.

"I'm rather well, considering all that happened. It feels a little odd, here, when by all means this should be gone but... I suppose it's nice that you dears are keeping me company."

Whoever these people were, anyways. Far too kind and benign to be anything of the OLD_DATA. Regardless of the who, how and whys, though, she'd appreciate the company. She was never one to turn away some guests, after all.

She gave a somewhat forced smile at the mention of her failure.

The bridge seemed to have broken in the deletion, disconnecting her island from the rest. She wasn't able to see if the other scrybes' domains, the horizon fuzzing and blurring when she looked over to the water's edge, but if they were lucky then perhaps they had obtained their final slumber even if she did not.

She could hope so, at least, for their sake.

"As for how I am, though... I'm..."

She considers. There is a bone-weary ache across her body, dragging her down, accompanied by a tingling buzz that she often associated with the game being reset. Not exactly the most pleasant, but...

"I'll be alright." This she knew for sure. "Perhaps I'm not at my best today, but it matters not." She doubted she'd be getting into any fights right now. "I'm not quite so brittle as you may think."

She was a more passive contestant than the other scrybes, but that didn't make her harmless.

Slowly, a figure who'd just moments ago thought themself dead crawls out from the dirt of the graveyard.

After a moment of rest, she pushes herself to her feet, brushing the dirt off of herself and smiling just slightly as it fades away completely. There were a few benefits to being fake and this was one.

Perhaps Leshy should've turned her into a cockroach, she ponders mirthfully with a hint of bitterness.

A simple option shows up before her, two buttons to answer from right ahead of her hands.

Typical.

Well, there would be no point standing here all day. Resigning herself, she accepts her choice and watches as the box disappears and a simple letter symbol shows in the corner of her vision.
