Denmark is defensive, especially when it comes to the past and protecting himself. And I’m his daughter, so I’ve inherited some of those exact traits, and since neither of us wanted to back down, it just ended up with us on the brink of a full on physical fight.
I’m glad it didn’t escalate any further. You’re welcome to stop by my home once you leave Canada’s if you’re still not sure about returning home.

I'm confronting Sweden and Denmark today, not just about the trauma dumping, but about everything they've put me through, i suppose. I honestly don't know how it'll go, best case scenario they realise their mistakes, worst case scenario they get angry and defensive..
I'm so happy that Canada offered me to stay with him for a while, and i'm happy that so many people are helping me with this, i honestly never thought i'd get this much support.
To put it simply, Denmark was of no help during the worst famine in my country’s history and I had to fight both him and Norway for my independence.
If he does get defensive, ask him about “the other girl he was supposed to look after.” That’ll shut him up.

I went into isolation after that- well, until America came along. I haven’t spoken to Denmark or Norway directly in a very long time, and I’m not keen on reaching out.
