A young... person? stands in his bedroom. It just so happens that today, the ??? of April, 2018, is a special day. Though it has only been 30 years worth of days since this one, only now will they get a name.

It’s embarrassing sparkling more than a diamond in a shop’s window. But yeah, I’m like this because I’m special or something. Bruce called it “shiny” I think. And to be fair, to me, you’re the weird one since you don’t have any Yellow on ya.

I uhh- of course! I left behind a note saying I was gonna explore the nature around Lumiose City! I think I said somewhere near one of the single digit routes, and it’s not like our Trainer is gonna pick us up any time soon. Besides, I’m big enough and ugly enough to take care of myself, it’s not like I’m gonna get in troubl-

Ey Tissue, what do you think? I call it the Snow-matisse! Never knew Route 7 could get snow like this... Then again it is the holiday season after all.

Admittedly, that may be a problem. If he gets bored- WHEN he gets bored, he’ll most likely invite others to the route. While I don’t mind too much about new faces around here, I’m more worried about if they’ll disrupt the peace or not. I worked hard to make the route accessible and friendly for all Pokémon, I don’t want them running anyone out.

Wow Tissue, you hurt my feelings. It’s not like my friends and I are literal walking explosions. Also, they ain’t thorns, they’re spines apparently.

Sigh, I wish I could answer your question but that would require me actually flying at some point. I was always a happy child but I deep down I was always upset over my inability to fly. I even went through a rebellious phase at one point...

Allow me to elaborate. I’m not alive per se, but I’m still sentient? I suppose it’s why I was given the name Sad Machine. What I really am is the light inside me, and my body is more like a shell! But I try to not let that get to me! I’m still walking and talking on this Earth so I’m going to make the most of it! 

They say I’m more of a Happy Machine anyway...
