I need to grab this and adapt this for my little filmmaking courses. 

It is okay to be at a place of struggle. Struggle is just another word for growth. Even the most evolved beings find themselves in a place of struggle now and then. In fact, struggle is a sure sign to them that they are expanding; it is their indication of real and important progress. The only one who doesn’t struggle is the one who doesn’t grow. So if you are struggling right now, see it as a terrific sign — and celebrate your struggle.

I have been bent and broken, but - I hope - into a better shape.

I wanted a perfect ending. Now I’ve learned, the hard way, that some poems don’t rhyme, and some storied don’t have a clear beginning, middle, and end. Life is about not knowing, having to change, taking the moment and making the best of it, without knowing what’s going to happen next.

a longer gentle reminder

The biggest lesson I’ve learned is, It’s okay. It’s okay for me to be kind to myself. It’s okay to be wrong. It’s okay to get mad. It’s okay to be flawed. It’s okay to be happy. It’s okay to move on.

To tell someone not to be emotional is to tell them to be dead.

I used to imagine adventures for myself, I invented a life, so that I could at least exist somehow.

I’m not totally mad at you. I’m just sad. You’re all locked up in that little world of yours, and when I try knocking on the door, you just sort of look up for a second and go right back inside.

I hate the way, once you start to know someone, care about them, their behavior can distress you, even when it’s unreasonable and not your fault, even if you were really trying to be careful, tactful.

We spoke endlessly about everything and nothing. Now, I cannot even remember the sound of your voice.

Remember that really time when you were going through hell and you weren’t sure you could handle much more, and it seemed your world was crashing down around you, and you really wished it would all end? You handled it. It’s over. You made it.
