What is the difference between having challenges in a relationships vs hindrances/and just overall things getting difficult to be together? I feel like all couples have challenges to overcome but i heard being with someone is supposed to be easy too so i get confused between whatâs a reason to break up vs whatâs just a challenge to overcome
I believe that being in the relationship should be easy, and life is hard. What I mean is there are certain âchallengesâ that people accept as normal, when itâs extremely dysfunctional. Cheating isnât a âchallengeâ. Disrespect isnât a âchallengeâ. Lying and hiding things isnât a âchallenge.â Those are things that arenât healthy in a healthy relationship.
Your relationship should be the most consistent thing in your love. The effort should be consistent. The respect and honesty should be consistent. The trust and commitment should be consistent. When youâre stressed in life, your relationship should be your peace. It should be your refuge.
Life is hard. People lose jobs. People lose loved ones. People struggle with mental health and emotional trauma. And life can sometimes affect the relationship. Thatâs a challenge. Having a relationship while grieving, thatâs a challenge. Losing hope or losing faith and that impacting how you communicate, thatâs a challenge. Losing a job and having to struggle in a marriage to keep things together, thatâs a challenge.
The relationship shouldnât be a challenge. It should be the consistent source of peace that helps you with your challenges.
If your relationship is the most stressful thing in your life or adds more stress in your life, itâs not healthy.

Also like, pretty sure WD didnât make that movie. It was the effort of various animators who sometimes get overlooked because we donât see them WORKING on it for so many days, just the two hour long result.
Pretty sure that Walt Disney didnât work on Hercules since it came out decades after he died.
Fun fact! The reason Hercules has such a unique style is because Musker and Clements brought illustrater Gerald Scarfe (famous for his work on Pink Floydâs The Wall) to be the conceptual character artist. His original character designs are wild
