This is what “equality” looks like in that liberal fairy tale land of Finland.  They punish you proportionately to how successful you are.  Sounds really “fair.”

Oh no… rich people facing fines that might actually make them consider not doing illegal things because the punishments might actually hurt them… how unfair… -V

Finnish person here. Our speeding ticket system owns and only people who bitch about them are people who wanna break the laws - the loudest whiners are the rich people who think they can just pay their way out of trouble and that’s why we have laws like that.

This is one of the more trying diagnoses I deal with daily. When my client with BPD(and ID) goes in to full anxiety mode it is the hardest thing to remember that it is not the PERSON telling me that I don’t treat her/ other persons served with dignity and respect, that I treat them like they are less than… it’s the ILLNESS. It’s the ingrained need to, whenever she feels like staff thinks she has done wrong, redirect blame/ hate/ anger onto others and ensure that everyone sees her as the victim. It’s difficult, and even I cannot always remember that in the heat of the moment. She really is a nice person, but this illness definitely hinders her social life.

That’s literally why I’m never phased or affected by what people who have this illness do. They can’t help it. I just continue to wish them peace and recovery. This must be hell to deal with. 😞
