I just can’t help but think of toxic fratkuna
Sukuna is the type of guy you’ve been warned to stay away from since the beginning of time. “Boys like that will get you in trouble. They’re manipulative and they’ll break your heart.” And you always listened. They’re fairly easy to avoid. Don’t go to them, they won’t come to you.
Except then you get to college. And things are different here. Boys are more persistent and frankly? They’re much more attractive too. One or two might just be worth your time.
The moment Ryomen Sukuna has his eyes on you at a party? Oh you’re basically off the market. Nobody’s getting in the way of Sukuna when he wants something. Who could resist his pretty face anyways?
He starts off persistent. Getting your number, finding you outside of your classes, begging for just one coffee shop date. He swears up and down he’ll leave you alone after that. You finally cave in and agree. Turns out you actually quite like his company, your guys’s bond growing deeper over library study dates and late night walks.
It starts off as an okay relationship. Cute dates, somewhat thoughtful gifts, always on his arm at a party. Then it spirals into jealousy from both sides, being stood up, him acting different around his friends. Before you know it? You’re in this whole one and off situationship with the most manipulative guy on campus.
Every time you think you’re free from the clutches of Sukuna? It’s like another obstacle is placed in your way. Four years of this on and off thing and he’s still the one you run to. The one your bonded to.
You had moved on, really! Found this nice boy from your criminology elective class. You two talked, went on some dates and had a couple movie nights. It seemed perfect to you.
Until you got a text late night from the boy, the “I just don’t think this working out.” Before you get to text back? You’re unadded on literally everything. Ugh, boys just lead you on no matter what.
But you had to admit you were a bit heartbroken. You really did like this boy! Liked him enough to cry about it on a late Tuesday night at 3 am.
With no one to turn to? You end up at the frat. Sat in Ryomen’s lap and arms. Sobbing into the crook of his neck.
“I just don’t know what I did wrong. What would have scared him off?” you sniffle.
Sukuna would just tut, rubbing circles on your back, “It was nothing to do with you baby. He just saw it getting too serious and backed out. No one can handle you like I can, huh?”
When he’d pull you back to look at your tear stricken face, his eyes would flick to your lips. Giving you every opportunity to back out before he kisses you.
“Love you so much. He doesn’t know what he’s missing.” Sukuna would whisper, forehead against yours. Wiping your tears with his hand.
You lean into it, mumbling back, “Love you too.” You close your eyes and relax into him, dozing asleep right there in his arms, knowing full well that when you wake up? You guys are falling back into the same dance as always.
Little do you know, the very man you’re in the arms of, is the very reason for your tears.
Sukuna had one nice little conversation with the boy you were seeing. Found out who it was simply by asking around campus. Your boy toy doesn’t need any other warning than Sukuna’s words. Instantly backing off and ghosting you.
Sukuna simply smiles against the top of your head as you drift off. How could a boy pathetic as that be worthy of you?
You just always manage to find your way back to each other. You’re both right where you want to be.
