atlasjcy:
they moved side by side, something a little more familiar for atlas as they made their way outside. it was a little colder outside than he would have liked and for a moment, he hesitated placing his feet on the grounds outside of the doorway before biting the bullet and doing it anyway. he wiggled his toes against the dirt before shrugging and carrying on, listening to bear as he spoke, âoh,â he mumbled, âso you see humans as like â equal or something? thatâs⌠different.â
Watching Atlas hesitate for a moment, Bear paused as well. âHold up.â He stopped them and started to untie his boots. âMâused to bare foot anyway.â Bear shrugged. âGonna needâem back at the end but yaâ can haven em while mâwith ya.â He explained passing them over one by one to the bare foot pet. âGuess so. Never really thought of em as anythinâbut pack. Ainât the case âround here I gather. Sâweird.â He admitted before standing back up. the feeling of the dirt under his bare feet wasnât an unpleasant one. In fact it was welcoming. Sort of felt like home.
