what the "go outside and touch grass" sayers dont know that if you go outside and touch grass for long enough you cross an event horizon in which you become significantly weirder and more fucked up than any chronically online asshole can be. and they like those people even less.

i regularly have people on trails turn and high tail it the other way when they see me coming. i can point at all the scars on my arm and name the plants that gave them to me and my opinions on them. ive lost count of how many spiders ive pulled out of my hair. you wish you were me.

its all "go outside and touch grass" until u start realizing that the outdoors should be a limitless right for everyone and you start hopping fences onto private property to collect bones from a dead animal you found or start following streams all the way to their source even if it takes you through someones baclyard and suddenly no one wants you outside anymore

Im at the point where I'm not a "trail person" but I've meet a few at this point, and can confirm, they're WEIRD in the best ways possible
