finally, after almost 8 and a half years of waiting, tomodachi life's sequel is gonna be here!!
the latest direct was amazing: the mc constantly struggling romantically, the miis and their designs, the art style, queer miis (we're actually so back, what i've wanted a sequel the most for) (enby + aro + ace too... never thought i'd see the day), and quirks! truly a signature soap opera from the franchise. best day of my life was february 27th last year, but it's looking like that will change in 2 months! the longest 2 months of my life...
anyway, since the prequel was a highlight from my childhood, it only felt fitting to draw angie and mocha's relationship. angie, even after all of her blunders and struggles, finds companionship in her teddy bear from many, many years ago. i think it's beautiful.
also, happy lunar new year! hope everyone finds peace and happiness from the things or people you love in the years to come.
