Yesterday, on 26th of January, many of us must have wished Happy Republic Day to one another. Many people shared posts and kept status on Republic Day. But do you knows what's the significance of Republic day? Why do we celebrate republic day and why is the date 26th January selected as Republic Day?! Let me take a voyage and take you all back to the history to know about the significance of 26th January!
India celebrates the republic every year on 26th January. Republic day plays tremendous historical importance to the country. Jawaharlal Nehru was elected President of the Indian National Congress, and Poorna Swaraj, or Independence Day, was declared on the 26th of January, 1930. However, in the real sense, we got Independence on the 15th of August, 1947. Due to the historical importance of the day, the 26th of January was declared Republic Day.
The present tricolour flag of India came after the advent of independence. The National Flag of India is a horizontal rectangular tricolour of India saffron, indicating the strength and courage of the country, white, indicating peace and truth, and India green, representing the fertility, growth, and auspiciousness of our land; with the Ashoka Chakra, also known as Samay chakra, a 24-spoke wheel, in navy blue at its centre, represents 24 hours of the day and is the symbol of the movement of the time. The flag was subsequently retained as that of the Republic of India.
India, which is known as the land of culture and tradition, is one of the oldest civilizations in the world. Indian culture is rich and unique in its own ways. It is a secular country where many culture and religions are flourishing with peace and prosperity. Ergo the bird peacock was declared as the National bird of India as it was entirely a part of Indian custom and culture. It is a symbol of grace and beauty. The Indian peacock, is a colorful, swan-sized bird with a fan-shaped crest of feathers, a white patch under the eye, and a long, slender neck. Its presence is across the country and this bird is one of the most recognizable birds in the world!
Jwala..
It is the lava of imagination whose eruption brings life to your imagination. The aim is to represent not just the outward appearance of things, but their inward significance. A Volcano always advices to keep your inner fire burning. Its OK to let off steam sometimes, but its necessary to go with the flow and be uplifting.
It's OK to be a little fiery! Just have a Blast and Rise to the occasion. Glow with high excitement and take your own time to cool down.
Remember.. Embrace Change!

Art Voyage...
Art is not what you see, but what you make others see..
It's not always about the Destination, it's about the journey..!!
Hello everyone a very heartfelt welcome to you all. This is Tripti Kaur, who is currently pursuing B Tech, but has a keen interest in art. It was one certain day when my sister told me about digital painting and then out of curiosity I started exploring more about it. I didn't even realize, when my art style shifted from traditional art to digital art. Eventually I decided to show my art to the world and encourage people to inspire their inner artist.
For me, making art is a journey and it is the journey of a free soul. So let's "Take an Art Voyage" to a beautiful world, as Art isn't a Result, It's a Journey of discovery.
