Enough said. 

I love this article because I’ve had this problem my whole life, and I can totally relate to ALL OF THIS (along with others who can relate). Plus, it’s appropriate for what I’m about to say. Someone asked me if I was having a bad day at work today, and I was like,”UHHHMM, no...I’m not having a bad day,” while I actually wanted to say that I have R.B.F (but I didn’t want to get in trouble for swearing). I must of embarassed her because she didn’t say anything after that. So yeah. This is the second time since I’ve started working that someone has pointed out my “chronic bitch face”. It’s really annoying. 

A couple hours later, I was ringing up some items for someone, and I was letting them pay for what they had gotten. Well, as soon as I turned around, this woman had MORE than 10 items on the entire conveyor belt. I was like, “Ah, crap,” because there was nothing I could do about it, and I couldn’t just tell her to go into another lane that wasn’t a 10 items or less lane. So I had to ring up everything as fast as I could since I didn’t want to piss off the other customers behind her (I really thought it would never end with all the things she had for her kid’s school stuff). THEN she had a divider for her other items, and I just wanted to sigh at her in exasperation, and then say, “It’s a 10 item or less lane. Read the sign. Just because I don’t have anybody in my lane doesn’t mean you can come in with a full cart. Go into another lane and just wait like everybody else do you don’t hold up the lane meant for a different purpose.” 

Let’s just say I was very confused by it while at the same time wanting to say that the client isn’t always right..especially when it came to what they had just said.
