Steve reassuring Nancy “It’s okay” that she chose Jonathan is everything to me? And that he stayed away to give them both space? Steve taking care of the kids? Steve fighting Billy? Steve being such a good brother to Dustin and helping him out (Nancy being a good sister too)? And fuck, I wouldn’t be shocked if he started becoming Max’s brother figure?

I love that Steve was introduced as this really douchey character who’s all tough but in reality he’s just an awkward sweetheart. Like?? Nancy and Jonathan are in trouble and he’s freaking out but comes back in for them screaming the whole friggen time. Dustin is this dorky little 14 year old and he just grabs Steve’s flowers and goes into his car and Steve just goes with it.
