But I think we see two clear examples of this. Once in Man City and again Mom City. And these two different regressions show two very different childhoods for Jamie.

Childhood #1:

Jamie is in a defensive position. Looking up at his father as he approaches him. He looks worried and a little scared. Like a child who's been scolded.

Vs Childhood #2

I mean, c'mon. He's clearly more relaxed here. Cuddling, warm, his mom is soothing him letting him cuddle on her. He's still a little nervous here but he's at ease to show his nerves.

Anyways, Phil Dunster is a masterclass in show trauma and the different ways it presents itself. Both of these are types of regression as a response to his trauma but displaying compltely differently.
