It's basically a given that if you're a Rise fan, Leo and Casey are basically an obligate father and son duo. That also includes petty squabbles about your dad downing your beer like a madman.

How My Lotus Leo Looks Like

Asshole A who keeps picking on B has no idea how much B is suffering, but B wants to keep it private and acts normal otherwise. Suddenly a situation appears where it's revealed how much B is suffering, either by accident like eaves-dropping or oversharing, or B being forced to mention their suffering.

It's so bad that A has to not only reevaluate how they've treated B, but also how they are as a person to their fundamental core. Not only that, A is permanently impressed by how resilient B is and feels overwhelming embarrassment and shame over how they acted.

Even better if there's a whole group of characters that aren't necessarily assholes, but underestimate B and their life experiences and are gobsmacked by B's tragic backstory and feel like they have an eternal debt to pay to B despite B being completely fine (but not always).

Best of both worlds is to combine asshole A with a group and all of them surprisingly having the same horrified reaction to B's suffering. They all end up doting on B to an obnoxious degree, but slowly start to tune it down, but the instinct to check up on B more than usual never goes away and they all would give up their lives for B.

B knows this and slowly starts to open up more. B also wouldn't hesitate to sacrifice themselves for A/group and they all develop an incomprehensibly deep bond no one can break. Not even the universe itself.

For a while I've heard a strong sentiment about how black men are fed up with the infamous "Killmonger" hairstyle being the default in a lot of media and black women in general missing more diversity in hairstyles so I wanted to come up with an interesting hairstyle on my own.

In the spirit of my furry descent, I thought I might as well post this one. In proper procrastination fashion, I actually started this drawing 2 years ago, worked on it a little more last year and haven't touched this ever since.

I saw @tsaikonautz's Tails in 2023 and was in awe of their mastery of anatomy and perspective which made me adamant on being at least close to their skill level. (Spoiler Alert: I'm NOT)

I've been putting this off for waaay too long, so I decided to work on this again. Since I'm also working on the Ronin and ROTTMNT crossover comic, it wouldn't make sense to post that without finishing this first.

Also, surprise, surprise! It's traditional art this time!

I only posted a progress picture 3 days ago, yet the the difference is stark, which makes me happy! It did take a lot of energy, several hours in a row drawing and cutting out some sleep to finish it. There are some minor (maybe major) details that both forgot, but also intentionally left out because the image would be too busy. That being said, has definitely come to fruition.

I'm not quite satisfied with the Tulpar ship because it's hard striking a balance between being accurate, but also making it look good.

So ... don't look at it please- What? Who said that? Not me!

For those who are wondering where the repeating quote on Curly is from, it's from the song "Dance With The Devil" by Immortal Technique. I think it fits very well with the themes of Mouthwashing.

Oh boy... Past me really thought the previous versions of this drawing was riddled with symbolism, huh? Well, check this shit out!

Before even starting this artwork, I knew that keeping Curly facing forward would bring more weight to this piece, but I thought it would be too easy of a solution, but some said that him facing the front is the best option, so since I already liked it, changed that.

I feel like the asteroid in the back doesn't look good enough compared to the amount of time I spent on it. I probably wasted way too much time on that, but what can ya do.

Then there's the dreaded Tulpar ship. I suck at mecha and drawing it drains the happiness and life out of me. Way too many linear geometrical shapes that I don't know what to do with and I just get stuck.

The objects of this piece that have probably gone the longest without any alteration is probably J*mmy (that's what he gets) and the Greek column pedestal. They're kinda the easiest for my to figure out what to do with, so they're kinda last.

I was kinda debating whether or not to keep the background or make it look like space filled with stars. The reason I was hesitant was because it seemed cliché, especially considering the setting of the game. Buuut, it looks too good to not do it, so I did it.

I'm still tired, but I've gotten my insomnia under control for a few months so that's fantastic in my book.

I got into the Mouthwashing fandom a while ago and made a few fanart pieces and this being the most elaborate one yet. This is very different from my usual drawings since this is riddled with symbolism and has a lot of different meanings that can be interpreted. This is nowhere near finished, but it has come a long way so I think that's reason enough to post this. Also... sorry for sucking at uploading. Who knew insomnia is a debilitating problem that you can't live, laugh and love through?

(Btw, Polle's left leg in the picture 2 and 3 look so stupid lmao)
