Finally back again! This took... once again, longer than I expected, but my tablet doesnāt work all the time, and itās been hard to work around. But I managed to get it done even withĀ the obstacles, and... hopefully Iāll be posting this closer to when I finished it than I did the last one (image IDs are not easy to write though lol)
Now that Iām finished with this reference sheet for Evie Iāll be starting on Iris soon- I have most if not all my references down, just waiting for my tablet to decide to work again. Anyways, onto the image ID!
[Image ID: Image is a reference sheet for Evie Castle, a white trans girl vampire with very pale skin, freckles, orange eyes and red-brown hair. Her hair is short in the back with a longer swoop on the right side of her head in the front, also with a very small braid on that side. She always wears a black choker and two piercings on her right ear, she is usually wearing a skull-shaped necklace, and her nails are painted black. Overall there are four full-body poses of Evie on the left side of the canvas, and on the right side there are six busts of her
The first full-body pose of her has her standing leaning slightly to the left, she is smiling and one of her fangs is just barely poking out, and she is holding her sword over her shoulder with her right arm. Her sword is flame-bladed, and it has a blue gem on the bottom of its pommel. She is wearing a short/cropped brown jacket over a cream colored shirt, blue jeans and brown boots.
The second full-body pose is of her standing leaning very slightly to the right, her arms are crossed and she is smiling. She is wearing the same brown jacket as before over a dark red shirt with darker blue jeans and the same brown boots. She is still wearing her skull necklace but she is also wearing a black bandana.
The third full-body pose has her leaning to the right, her left arm is straight with her hand curled into a fist while her right hand is placed on her hip. She is wearing a black leather jacket over a dark blue shirt with a skull on it, dark grey ripped jeans over fishnets, and black platform boots. She is still wearing her skull necklace, and she has black lipstick and eyeshadow as well.
The fourth full-body pose has her leaning very slightly to the right, but only barely, and both her hands are on her hips. She is smiling with a fang sticking out slightly. She is wearing a white dress, itās cold-shoulder with a frill at the top. She is wearing black flats. She is not wearing her skull necklace
The top left bust is of Evie looking excited, smiling widely showing off her fangs, and her hands up and balled into fists over her chest in excitement. She is wearing her white dress. She is not wearing her skull-necklace.
The top right bust is of Evie looking scared and upset, and she is crying. Her right arm is raised defensively in front of her. She is wearing her brown jacket over her cream shirt.
The middle left bust is of Evie looking confident and determined, leaning forward and to the left, once again grinning widely and showing off her fangs. She is wearing her black leather jacket over her dark blue shirt with a skull. She is wearing her skull-necklace, black lipstick and eye-shadow, and black aviator sunglasses are propped up on top of her head.
The middle right bust is of Evie looking annoyed or frustrated, and she is wearing her brown jacket over her dark red shirt with her black bandana and skull necklace.
The bottom left bust is of Evie in bear form, she only has her piercings and her skull necklace visible, her black choker is hidden by her fur. You can also see the gem and a bit of the pommel of her sword sticking out behind her, as if it is strapped to her back. Her bear form also still has the front of her hair but without the braid, and her fur is a slightly more dulled color than her hair.
The bottom right bust is of Evie in bat form, once again she is only wearing her piercings, choker and skull necklace, and she still has the front of her hair.
Neither the bear nor the bat are to scale, the bear is shown as much smaller than it would actually be and the bat is shown as much bigger than it would actually be (in reality, the bear should be at least a third bigger, and then the bat would be only slightly bigger than the bearās nose as she is a bumblebee bat)
Behind the set of full body poses and the set of busts is each a square of pastel purple; above the orange rectangle of the full body poses is āEvie Castleā in orange lettering. In the bottom left corner is handwritten āTinyTieflingDMā, in the middle of the date ā06/21/2022ā³ typed out, and under the bottom right corner of the orange rectangle of the full body poses is handwritten ā@ArtisticAromanticā
There are two more images, but they are just the first one separated into just full body in the first and just busts in the second, though the date and watermarks were copied over to be shown under the busts as well for that one.

Manual Wheelchair Tutorial by Fade31415
So... I technically drew this 3 years ago but forgot to post it. I think I was going to clean up the end and make a nice recap, but I ran out of steam and then just left it as a wip for years. I got reminded of it because I was talking to a friend about how to draw wheelchairs today.
This covers most of what I view as the most common errors when it comes to drawing characters who use manual wheelchairs. I hope it helps you a lot.
Image description is in alt text, but there is a back up image description under the cut in case that does not work for some reason
A great resource!
So happy to finally be back! Iāve been working on this for a while, but itās finally here... my reference sheet for Briar! Iāve been really trying to work on and improve my art style and iām really happy with and proud of how far Iāve come.
As of posting this (which you can tell i procrastinated on doing, because i finished it on the 2nd and now itās the 10th... whoops lol), I am currently working on a reference sheet for Evie, so if youāre a fan of the Rolls of Fate podcast and enjoy her as a character, keep your eyes peeled for that! Iām hoping to get it out a lot faster than the time this one took lol
[Image ID: Image is a reference sheet for Briar Valentine, an individual that has brown skin with freckles, curly black hair, and purple eyes. He has multiple scars; one across his face going from under his right eye across his nose and then up his face, one on the right side of his neck, one on his right shoulder, a small round scar in the middle of his right hand, multiple scars on both arms, as well as a scar on his right leg. Overall there are four full-body poses of Briar on the left side of the canvas, and on the right side there are six busts of him.
The first full body pose is of him in his standard outfit, which is a torn and patched-up brown trench coat worn closed over a dark reddish brown sweater, grey pants, and black boots. He is also wearing his teardrop shaped lapis pendant, several silver piercings, a black ring on the ring finger of his right hand, and round glasses with red lenses. His hair is up in a ponytail. In his left hand he is holding a take recorder, and he is holding it up in such a way that he might speak into it. In his right hand is a gun, his arm is down and the gun is almost tucked behind him, as if to attempt to obscure the view of it.
The second full body pose is of him standing in a slightly more casual pose, his legs farther apart and his hands tucked into his coat pockets. His coat is open here, and under it he is wearing a grey sweater and dark brown pants, along with the same black boots. He is still wearing his pendant, piercings, and glasses. His hair is still up in a ponytail. He is looking off towards his right (so to the left).
The third full body pose shows Briar from behind. His coat is the main focus here, and you can see that it has patches on the back as well as the front to help hold it together. He is wearing the same black boots and glasses with red lenses, with his hair still up in a ponytail, and he is once again looking to the left of the screen, though he is facing more directly that way this time.
The fourth full body pose is a much more shy pose, with his legs partially crossed and his arms in front of him, hands clasped together. Unlike the other three full body poses, he is now wearing a red dress with cold shoulder sleeves and a long ruffly skirt that is slightly longer in the back than in the front. He is wearing what appears to be the belt from his coat over the dress as an accessory, as well as his lapis pendant, glasses with red lenses, black boots, black ring and his usual piercings. His hair is also down, instead of being up in a ponytail. He is wearing slightly more noticeable makeup, with his lipstick and eyeshadow both being red now. He is smiling shyly and looking towards the ground.
The top left bust is of Briar in his outfit with the red dress. He looks distressed or concerned, and he is gently holding his right shoulder with his left hand.
The top right bust is of Briar in his outfit with his coat and brown sweater, he is facing towards the left and looking very frustrated as he has his eyes closed and is pinching the bridge of his nose between his fingers.
The middle left bust is of Briar without his coat, but in his grey sweater and with his hair up in a ponytail. He looks frustrated or even angry, his expression is a mix of a scowl and a grimace, and he has his hands out in front of him in some sort of hand motioning gesture.
The middle right bust is of Briar once again in his dress outfit, he is looking to the right in a shy or flustered manner and has his left arm folded up as he is holding his face in his left hand, though it is mostly obscured by his hair.
The bottom left bust is of Briar still in his dress outfit, though this time without the glasses so you can actually see his eyes which are purple. He is looking mildly shy or nervous. His arms and hands are not in view.
The bottom right bust, the last of the sheet, is of Briar without his coat but in his brown sweater with his hair up, he has his glasses back on, and he has a very unimpressed facial expression. Both of his hands are up, with the middle fingers raised in a flipping off motion.
Behind the set of full body poses and the set of busts is each a square of pastel purple; above the purple rectangle of the full body poses is āBriar Valentineā in purple lettering. In the bottom left corner is handwritten āTinyTieflingDMā, in the middle of the date ā05/02/2022ā³ typed out, and under the bottom right corner of the purple rectangle of the full body poses is handwritten ā@ArtisticAromanticā
There are two more images, but they are just the first one separated into just full body in the first and just busts in the second, though the date and watermarks were copied over to be shown under the busts as well for that one.

personal update
Soooo... i havenāt been drawing much recently. partially (mostly) because the podcast Iāve been doing all my art for is still on hiatus, but also... I just havenāt been happy with my style recently.
And, you know, Iād been so scared about changing it, but I kinda realized today... why? Your style is supposed to change and grow as you keep drawing- ESPECIALLY if you arenāt happy with a certain aspect of it! Even if that aspect had originally been something you did intentionally and used to like!
So uh... yeah. Hopefully, with any luck, this revelation will be able to kick me into gear to work on stuff again, and Iāll be able to start posting stuff again!
When I do, itāll probably be updated art/designs for the Evergrove Hunters, as they are, you know, the main characters in the podcast, and the ones you actually see art of in the podcastās youtube videos.
(Speaking of those... as both the official artist and first editor of those episodes, the format of how the videos look is probably going to change once I settle into my new art style! But, weāll see)

Blueās Feathers and Wings Compendium: Standard Wing Shapes
Wings Part 1 [Standard ]| Wings Part 2 [Atypical] | Feather Markings | Tail Feathers [Part 1] | Tail Feathers [Part2]
I have expanded the traditional 4 types; Highspeed, Elliptical, Low Aspect and High Aspect ratio, because they were very narrow and vague categories for the most part, adding High Energy, Thermal Soaring, Night Glider, and Passerine wings. I feel that these extra types make it easier to understand and visualize the differences and similarities between wing shapes.
Iāve renamed Low Aspect to Powered Soaring, and High Aspect to Dynamic Soaring for the purposes of the fact that names made it hard to understand purpose and were easily confusable.Ā
A lot of these wing types are also affected by tailfeather shape and size, and that will change their agility and energy expenditure as the tail also generates lift.
Disclaimer: This is in no way intended to be an academic dissertation or proposal, do not treat it as such. It is purely for art and writing references for others, to aid description and inspiration.
It took a long time to complete, but... hereās Chaos! Iām genuinely super happy with how the whole piece came out. (Note to self: When getting back into drawing in general, donāt start off with something super large... like a literal dragon... lol)
As always check out @rollsoffate to find links to the podcast (Episodes release every other Saturday at 2pm PST)
[Image ID: the image is a drawing of Chaos, a large bright blue dragon with green eyes and dark blue horns and spikes. She is sitting on a large rock in a cave with light shining down on her from above, and she is holding a large book in one of her hands. The book has writing in it, but it appears as illegible scribbles. She is looking forward and towards the right where there is the silhouette of a cliff face and two figures. The two silhouetted figures are of Briar Valentine and Martin Field. Briar is standing to the left of Martin on the cliff, he is shorter, and looking up at Chaos very startled. Martin is standing next to Briar, seemingly very calm. There is a small amount of light in front of him coming from his phoneās flashlight. In the top right of the image is the artistās two watermarks, TinyTieflingDM and @ArtisticAromantic. End ID]

Update
While I donāt have any more art to post today (though hopefully I will in a couple of days!) I do have a pretty big announcement:
Iām going to be opening up a commissions page soon so I can start taking commissions!
I had originally wanted to wait for a while, as my paypal is under my deadname (as it is still my legal name), but my roommate has offered to let me use zir paypal to take commission payments, so hopefully that will be a thing relatively soon.
Itās been a long while, but with the release of Episode 12, I can finally post some more character art- starting today with this illustration of Damian Glass!
As always check out @rollsoffate to find links to the podcast (Episodes release every other Saturday at 2pm PST)
[Image ID: the image is of Damian Glass, a very pale skinned man with dark brown eyes and bright red hair with an undercut. He is wearing a black suit jacket and pants, with a dark red vest over a lighter red dress shirt, along with black dress shoes. He is standing, posing in front of his light blue car, itās parked on a gravelly dirt road and there are pine trees in the background. He is looking off to the right and smirking. End ID]

Before you go āmY aRt sTyLe iS dIfFrEnT tHoUgHā you can moderate it and play around with your style to get it to fit.
Iāve been getting some requests to make a tutorial on how to draw fabric. Itās really not that complicated when you break it down, but itās still something people get stuck on and over complicate. Hereās my ābare bonesā simple explanation as to how to draw fabric!
How do you draw the alien & dragony feet so well?? I can never get the toes right, any advice?
Sure do! I usually start with a human-ish shape then extend the toes into a dragony shape. Knowing the basics helps when you want to make something new:
A lot of times you can get away with just drawing the basic shape and some nonsense lines to mimic muscles/tendons and itāll look good!
If you want to know more about how legs work on the inside Iād suggest looking at the legs of emu, ostrich, big cats, deer, and horses. Emu and ostrich legs will give you a look at that scalie/fleshy toe texture. The tendons in big cat paws are very dramatic and have that perfect little M shape to their toes because of their retractable claws. Looking at the leg bones of horses and deer, especially the hind legs, will help you better understand how digitigrade(ābackwardsā bending) legs work.
I made a nice little guide for how I draw wings because a friend asked for it! Have fun! Click the images to see em closer!
Do you ever have something you need to draw but it just takes you forever to actually get around to?... Yeah uh so hereās Doug Barryson.

Had a bit of a slower week last week, as I was struggling with a certain piece that ended up getting pushed to being worked on this week, so I only ended up drawing Evie in her Bumblebee Bat and Brown Bear forms. Pretty happy with how they turned out though!
As always check out @rollsoffate to find links to the podcast (Episodes release every other Saturday at 2pm PST)
[Image IDs:
The first image is of Evie as a bat. The bat, which is supposed to resemble a bumblebee bat, has some things to show that it is actually Evie. It has her hair, choker and necklace, and the skin of her wings matches her hair. Her eyes are also orange. She is being held in a large pale hand that belongs to Martin Field, and in the background you can see grass.
The second image is of Evie as a bear. Like the bat, the bear has Evieās hair, choker and necklace. The bearās eyes are orange. Unlike the bat, the bear also has Evieās piercings, and eyebrows that match her hair. The bear is leaning up against a tree, the ground is grass and there are more trees farther in the background]
