Had a new idea for a Sonic OC, dubbed Gigantica. A giant squid lady that easily towers over most of the Sonic the Hedgehog cast and that just emerged from the depths one day to tour the surface world.

She's very bubbly, seeing the sights and enjoying what all the surface world got to offer, but can also get a bit patronizing in how she reacts to the usual conflicts with Eggman. She just finds them silly and adorable, not seemingly bothered by the threat the mad scientist poses.

She's also quite the occultist and could easily make friends with Amy over the shared tarot card interest, while to Sonic especially she seems somewhat somber towards. That's because due to her native proximity to the earths core, she harnesses the power of Dark Gaia especially and thinks he lost a great blessing when he lost his werehog form.

Been a long time since I really did digital make over of some of my doodles, let alone upload any, but I am still impressed at myself with how this one turned out.

Have also been thinking of Haviks story in Mortal Kombat 1 and how to maybe do our chaotic little guy a bit more justice and since it was a friends birthday who also really likes the character, doodled a scene from those thoughts out.

Him, caught up in the moment of having just gained immortality via a brush with Chaos Realm and unleashing on his own dad when he comes in to stop his son from disturbing the neighborhood with the help of Darrius.

No reference pictures used when doodling this, so glad I nailed the pose. The coloring is also not half bad if I may say so.

I might have to name Ernest Frankenstein as my favorite character besides the monster.

This poor example of middle child syndrome isn't a big part of the narrative and, with how I understood it, survives the book with the rest of the family dead.

Imagine being him for a second: His mom dies when he is young, his big brother isn't heard from for a long time when he heads to university, then his little brother gets murdered, his second adopted sister is convicted and executed for it, his his first adopted sister and sister-in-law gets killed during her and his big bros honeymoon, then his dad dies and big brother Victor runs off and dies god knows where in the arctic while he's just kinda there and has no clue about anything going on.

Already feel deep sympathy for the monster, which Victor just abandoned pretty much right after giving it life, being treated like crap even when saving a kid from drowning because it looks horrific and what not, but Ernest gets my sympathy too.

Got inspired by the song Heavy is the Crown by Linkin Park.

The song fits both the situation with the new lead singer as it does for Scourge and Surge. So decided to doodle it.

Welp, came up with a new Nights OC

I call them Opera, tho it would be mispronounced from the school of musical theatre that lowkey inspired them.

See them as a very dramatic fella that really commits to the bit, diving into dreamworlds and going along with what is going on in it until they found some vulnerabilities in it or the dreamer who's dream they're in.

From there, they derail things, manipulating the dreamer and installing shame, hatred and what not. It's one of the few times one would see Opera smiling, otherwise tending to always have a frown on their face.

Was fun to experiment with perspective a little and the waves that symbolise his power.

Got a new Sonic the Hedgehog OC~

Her name is Tick Tick, because a) she's an actual tick and b) she's a ticking time bomb of a character.

Basically, she's one of many civilians that occasionally gets caught in the crossfire of the ongoing fights between Sonic and Eggman and what not, having long believed herself to be unable to defend herself or do anything about the chaos going on around her.

But she actually does have an ability:

She can copy the powers of others! Though she can only do so by sucking their blood(or life force to be PG friendly).

Once she figures that out, she's going to get a little drunk on that power, aiming to befriend Sonic and co for easier access to powers. As she can't keep up, her way of acting tends to favor sneakiness, manipulation and trapping.

Only problem is that she's quite shy and awkward in conversation, especially due to her funky mouth. Those corners are what little one can usually see of her pincers, which she'll only get out when it is time to drain someone. A process that often causes the victim to not remember what happened due to the exhaustion that causes.

You'd also be able to see how much power she got stored up, as her head starts to bloat along the markings on her head. The bloatier, the more energy she got stored up to use and will ineffably deflate over use.

If she were to be caught and called out, she'd try to justify herself via the fear she felt when she believed herself to be powerless, though even she isn't that confident in those justifications. Still, it would spiral into her becoming more of a villain over time.
