Man, even the ponies are mocking me...although I’m not sure if it’s because I haven’t finished it or because I’m going to. Sorry, mutant ponies, but you’re gonna get some new friends. And I’ve found the remaining Guest Ponies that people drew for me in a folder on my laptop, so they’ll be going up too.

My friend Scott pointed out that this pony looks like one of those “overweight dogs laying down” photos. Also, given its giant head, I assumed it was a super-smart genius and therefore gave it super-smart genius glasses.

I’ve been off the ponies for a few days. Thankfully it didn’t keep. As a means of apology, have both a Special Limited Edition Artisan Pony Incident and a Guest Pony by Erin Heinemeyer. Sometimes I think that people cheat on the Pony Rules…then I remember that some people can draw.

Today's Guest Pony is Fancy As Fuck and was illustrated by the Pigeon Queen, Nina Dorries. Today's non-guest pony is surprisingly acceptable to me.

WOOO HOOO! I got another guest pony for you freaks. It's by Kari Anderson and it's got the keys to your truck. Even if you don't own a truck. As for my pony, somebody's been putting the legs on while drunk again.

Today's artisan pony was drawn with pencil instead of pen because they're my rules and I can wipe my nose on them if I so choose.

Today's Guest Pony is by Kathie Veach, and I really gotta say that I love the various non-Euclidean properties that it has. Lovecraft would be proud. As for my pony, its given name is Swayback Thunderthighs.

Some days you start drawing, contemplate starting over, keep going, make it worse, and end up crying.
