I like the progression of Naruto's demon forms. At first it was little things like fangs and claws. Then it slowly escalates with tails and skeleton and muscles emerging at the higher levels. Visually representing slow loss of anger and control.

I had a hard time choosing which moments from Riku's story to draw here, since he has some of the most growth. In the end I decided on a few turning points. First when he is a child on Destiny Island where he met Terra. Then using his Dark Mode inbetween KH1 and Chain of Memories. From KH2, I like the final scene on the beach where hashes out his guilt and feelings with Sora. I wanted to draw the Double Keyblade from Dream Drop Distance too, since that game was like closure for him. Finally there is his last appearance in 3 before the credits roll. A complete reversal in expression from his edgy, younger self.
My favorite Sora & Kairi scenes, between 1, 2 and 3. I had a really hard time with the wings.
Aqua, Anti-Aqua, and Armored Aqua. The Keyblade transparency was hard to figure out.
I wanted to draw Sora at different stages of life, in just one picture. Mostly the main trilogy and BBS. I like the chess pieces being used as a symbol for a character's story in 3, and started with that. Then Sora meeting Ventus as a child > Getting the Keyblade in KH1 > Unlocking Final Form in 2 > Ultima Form in 3 > Leaving at the end of 3.

XY has a town where you can get Mega Gyarados. There's a reference to the Dragon Gate story which inspired Magikarp, so I'm surprised that Mega Gyarados didn't become a Dragon like Charizard did.

I really liked the addition of horde wild battles in XY & ZA. Seeing wild Pokemon together in packs or a flock, it just felt like a natural addition to the game world. Any Pokemon who are natural enemies will be fighting each other instead of the player (like Zangoose fighting Seviper, or Sableye hunting Carbinks because it eats gems). Pokemon who are relatives like Miltank and Tauros would also appear together. Sudowoodo here hides out with Trevenant, which is more of a funny gag (its a petrified tree).
I think this mechanic also gives you a heightened chance of finding Shiny Pokemon, because I have found a-lot of random shiny Pokemon exclusively in these battles...
Pinsir and Heracross have been rivals for a while, like the real life Stag and Rhino Beetles in Japanese bug fighting. They were version exclusive in XY, and their Mega Stones are actually buried in the same forest together. I was really happy when they added a Mega form to Pinsir after years of being outclassed. As a Bug/Flying, it has a big advantage now. Mega Heracross is powerful too, but I wish I knew why it has cannons for hands...
