I’m thinking about Halloween!

Something of a tradition here on this blog and in this space is that I always try to do some sort of fun shenanigans for Halloween, usually in the means of some big group RP event where everyone gets to do a little somethin!

The success of these events is usually pretty hit or miss, but I always enjoy trying to give people something to do with their characters that can function as a sort of shared narrative.

But why am I talking about this now? Honestly I’m just wanting to start fishing for interest early! I think I’ve figured a scope for the project this time, acting as a sort of sequel to one of the events from several years ago.

But these events aren’t anything without all of you!

I’m probably going to be reblogging this for the next month or so, before kicking off things properly Mid-September or so. Instead of the last bash from last year with all the combat and such, I’m thinking of something akin to a Toxic Masquerade! Less focus on brawls and such, and more focus on surviving in a scenario of back stabbery and intrigue, or maybe your characters will take to the glitz and glam of High Society!

Please feel free to send me asks or shoot me a DM if there is any interest whatsoever! I’m asking early so people have time to decide and figure their level of commitment and interest! Even if just two or three people participate that’ll be more than enough for me!

Nestled within the crumbling remains of a once grand castle tower, a musty library awaits. The Robotic Researcher, eager for a lead, gets to work on uncovering a spine tingling secret…

I do not have access to any SGRU8, S8UR8, or SPORTKNIGHTS data myself sadly! However my general information on carapace folk falls under the usual expectations. Many of them are made to Fill A Role, so it is ideal to find them tasks they feel suited for! There are catalogued events of them changing professions when left unsatisfied.

It is important to allow them to feel valued, even for the most menial tasks!

Most of the ones under my employ, Prospitians, lend themselves to clerical work quite well. Though just as many can shift to com8at! I had one that was a self proclaimed Magus, so their flexi8ility is quite nice!

Often times I found they enjoyed eating other shelled creatures whole. Cra8, shrimp, that sort of thing!

Provide some form of employment or entertainment, ensure they are valued for performing it, and provide crustaceans and other shelled critters for sustenance.

Hello Artemis! Alas, I am not much a fan of this castle still. 8ut I hesitate to jump shot just yet. So many people are still lost. Honestly I am overwhelmingly happy to hear from you and Cassilda these days!

That night went so… poorly.

8ut uh! Yes! 8efore things got away from me on the east coast, I had 8een planning to 8uild a train to chart a course for Twilight Springs, a little hide away in the Rocky Mountains only accessi8le via train. At least, that was how it used to 8e.

Hmm I Wonder If Uhhhhh Whatever Title She Picked For Herself At The Moment Might Be Able To Magic Up Some Sorta Tracker For Finding All Your Lost Caparacians. Surely They Must Have Something To Them That Can Be Followed Around.

Either Way, The First Step Would Be To Scout Ahead And Note Where Train Tracks Are No Longer Complete Or Parallel, I'd Imagine? Unless You Wanted To Make A Fancy Hovercar Or Something That Only Followed A Path Rather Than A Rail...

A hover train does sound quite interesting though! I feel I would still want to use the rails as some sort of guide though.

Otherwise I am just driving a hover car as you said! No thanks!

@knowingoverseer helped me to throw together an outfit for the holiday seasons! Figured I might as well capitalize on things while I’ve still got the Jade 8lood to match!

The chosen object was no mere dusty book, but instead scripture. Hymns dedicated to hungering, greedy beings. Reading them out triggered some sort of spark, that almost began to feel like a sting along the skin as she continued.

The Vigilant Machine continued to the best of her ability. She was causing something to happen.

But she certainly couldn’t control it.
