Hello Artemis! Alas, I am not much a fan of this castle still. 8ut I hesitate to jump shot just yet. So many people are still lost. Honestly I am overwhelmingly happy to hear from you and Cassilda these days!

That night went so… poorly.

8ut uh! Yes! 8efore things got away from me on the east coast, I had 8een planning to 8uild a train to chart a course for Twilight Springs, a little hide away in the Rocky Mountains only accessi8le via train. At least, that was how it used to 8e.

I dunno! Hot springs seemed like a nice switch up from the cold mountains!

Ah 8ut yes, there was quite a 8it of issues in setting things up. I never even managed to get the train properly 8uilt. I was last in Glasgow trying to set things up in North America, 8ut… eh. Detours. Distractions. I never even fully routed a path. I wouldn’t even know where to send you to or what to have you check!

oh gosh, i'm not that use to, well, gaming being a supported thing.

i fell into deltarune because of course i did but really, kingdom come deliverance has been the game that has been having a hold on me. you play as this guy, henry of skalitz in the earth year of 1403, which is a very long time ago. it's a pretty neat game, and scratched the skyrim itch i didn't even know could be scratched. oh, right, and skyrim is kind of a classic open world game at this point. like, it was really impressive and people can still lose themselves in the old game pretty easily. i think i played too much to really be able to do that, though. oh wow i kind of have a lot to say about games, huh?

As he walked he was wearing a light grey hooded trench coat and pants, a white t-shirt, and also white and grey shoes. He also had a silver chain necklace around his neck, the pendant a three pronged crown that was half white and black. However the trench coat was zipped up and with his hood up all that can be seen was a black void.

He found himself in a ruined settlement. Something angry and destructive made its way through, and the people who once lived here fled.

As he walked, he heard a soft 'tssst' from a nearby building. A troll with an arrow half-nocked into a bow looking out from the darkness.

"If You're Not A Necromancer, Or Not Here To Help Deal With A Big Pest, You Might Wanna Scram. Bag Of Bones Nearby And It Is One Angry Boil."

She was wearing a camo jacket, a machete on a holster on her hip, and a carefully secured quiver on her back. What looked like a bundle of metallic and wooden tchotchkies hung from a chain on her neck, surprisingly noiseless as she moved. She had covered her horns with some paste to dull their colour and better blend in.

She rummaged through her coat pockets and after a few seconds pulled out a small flask that rattled when moved. She uncorked it and emptied some dark powder into her palm, eyed them as if measuring them, and blew it into the remains of the beast.

"Just A Precaution. Some Enchanted Powder That Should Facilitate Decay And Keep Any Opportunist From Using All This Dead Matter Again."

She started the trek out of the cave.

"So, Yeah. Vampire Fairy Fetch Thing! I... Don't Think There's A Name For What I Am Which Honestly Suits Me. How About You? What's Your Story? You Made Those Swords, Or Found Them?"

"My story is a rather long one. Not one that can be told in a single night. Let's just say that on top of dealing with the supernatural, I also find and secure artifacts. So that way those with malicious intent can't use them. As for these swords, they are Lux and Tenebris and yes I made them myself. They are also capable of killing the divine." He followed right behind her.

"Well, I'm Always Down For A Good Story. You Are An Artifact Hunter As Well? Do You Just Hear About Them Or Do You Have A Group You Are A Part Of?"

She blinked in the sun as they left the cave. "I Wonder If That Guy Was Also Controlling The Weather..."

"Killing The Divine, Huh? Could've Used Your Help Some Time Ago, Had To Fight What I'm Pretty Sure Was Some Sort Of Evil Deity."

"I am by myself actually, and have been that way for a long time now. I know magic is able to harm and kill those that are divine. Though, there are only a few materials out there that can and some are rather rare compared to others. Been to long since I have traveled with another."
