Deadline

Deadline is an interesting stop motion animation and it brings the visual focus onto sticky notes , something to simple but so important. Deadline , stating the name it is obviously about a piece or work that is due in on a set time. Going through through the frames it shows your more and more about what happens when you leave work to late and you do it within your last few remaining minutes. My two favourite frames are where he begins to play block buster with his book above with the sticky notes representing the actual game also using the famous driving game for Gameboy users.

Rippled

Rippled is more of an advanced piece of stop motion which portrays the image of a suburban wasteland where all the lights hide and such within secret. Working on a piece for 6 months makes the stop motion animation itself look effective due to the amount of time put into it. I personally like the lights and ripples they use in the video in a dark environment , it makes it stand out a huge amount and created a diverse contrast effect.

AT-AT DAY AFTERNOON

This animation is shorter than the others. It brings a fictional character/object to life with stop motion which I find humorous and excellent at the same time. This kind of work must of taken awhile to complete because of how close the frames are together its doesn’t even look like a stop motion. This animation definitely works with how the aimed to create it portraying the AT-AT as a pet dog.

The PEN Story

This is my attempt at creating an info graphic about game console generations , Overall it was a tough challenge as I am not used to hardcore research (thanks Rudy) but luckily we were given bits of info to cut down which I did by units sold of which console and the top five selling games within that console.
