Small Town Tokyo: Himonya (Japanese call condo-type apartments, "mansions." This term originated in the 1960s in Japan by developers to distinguish them from public housing danchi apartments and the old wooden frame apartments.)

One of my favorite parks with hills and exposed rocks, stonework (granite) from the 1930's, rustic picnic shelters, various trails, a rocky stream, and a large pond. May is an excellent time to visit and wander through its river valley terrane. This pond is part of an old quarry site and an excellent opportunity for water reflections.
