I Post My Art Sometimes

I’m actually so proud of this - this is the nitty gritty progress details! So feel free to not read haha

I start each house with a digital mock up situation and do all the fun grid line stuff, then make a grid on my paper

Then I sketch it out, cover up windows, and lay down the first couple light layers under everything

Then I used masking fluid for the first time and ohhhhh I’m so glad I did made this so much easier 10/10 get masking fluid if you’re doing bricks or stone walls because YO

Then I filled in colors, decided the grass was WAY to pigmented and knocked it back (lotta blotting) and went in with tiny detail brushes

Then used colored pencils to finish out the tiny details and also flesh out the window and door trim as well as the pillars near the door. I also spent a good amount of time on the door glass patterns XD
