this is my final animation which is silent running animation that I played music along to.

this was my second attempted at my FMP, that was a traditional frame by frame animation after my first attempt got corrupted.

These images are a before and after image of my set -up for my space in the art exhibition that we had. What it contains is a monitor to display the silent animation and 3 sets of headphones that were looping two songs that tie my entire theme together. both A1 hung on either wall easy to see just above the monitor and the last stuff is just behind the wall which was the power source with the laptop that played the music and animation with headphone wires connected to it.

my Fmp has changed up to 3 times now from digital to traditional animation then into a attempt at mono printing now taking some of the idea from mono attempt and tracing over the 118 photos that i have and coloring them and turning them into a frame b frame animation  ready for the event to showcase our final pieces. and to be fair I find this a lot simpler  quicker process to produce my animation compared to mono printing or digital frame by frame drawing.

Later on the production of the work was going smoothly on “adobe animate cc” and I was give fairly good comments on its production; but that wasn’t going to stay like that for too long as about ¾ into the course my work became corrupted and I tried to recover the work and look for a recant back-up but there was no luck on that front. So I had to scrap the idea of a digital animation with story and go for a traditional animation with not that much context, but I was able to keep the sub-meanings behind the charters designs. Over-all I found this course quite interesting and it showed me a couple career path that I might really doing as I really enjoy doing them. The FMP that I will have is two A3 for “Love is Blue” and “All’s fair in Love and War” with the a silent running animation in the centre with maybe one or two songs to tie it together with the main theme.

so yer with the trouble of my first , has lead my to plan b with a very bad taste in my mouth and left my also quite annoyed. I can’t reveal what i plan to do for a back-up just yet as it is quite sketchy and maybe doing something still on the lines of animation but possibly traditional compared to digital but that is up for debated in my mind before i can continue

my animation file got corrupted and  there is a early back-up of it but because we are close to the finish line with this project i don’t think i can replicate the work in time so i’m having to resort to plan be which is much simpler to what i was doing and i already got what i need to start it .

on the latest scence i am happy that i got the brush finally to the size that i wanted so now it is much more easier to do!

Traditional animation using dry point if I use it in my final piece.

this concept is called “bipolar nightmare” this is going to be my 2nd to final concept. so the thought behind this is this is the true from/emotions of the protagonist character that is shown in my animation. with the design aspect of what i wanted to show was “distortion” which i showed by the black rapping around most of the body not only that but the hair is divided between dark gray and white and the whites of the eyes are darkened with a bright purple for the iris. the lines beneath the eyes give the impression of a stone cold look and also like he has witnessed terrible things 

This is my attempt at a simple flip book animation. I know flip books can be heavily detailed for the desgin inside them be for this sample I did something​ simple and embrarised that I did it the wrong way but it might show as a more detailed piece for my final major project.

i feel the work that i’m doing in the animation is going at a steady rate and with each scene i feel my self improving and improving over and over. i do fear that i’m might try to do so much in a short space of time because i do want to have a short amount of time to do the final details before the grand unavailing at our art show. but like i said before i’m starting to feel more confident in my use of “ adobe Animate cc” and I feel that even if my animation might not come out as High standard as i am hoping to provide but i know that they will be looking at how my work is defined. I have also considered the scary option of doing SFX and BG music on adobe after effects but that’s a idea if i’m done with the animation as easily as i can before hand

For my animation I have decided to do background separate to the animation to add a larger amount of detail and I feel quite determined to make these background s for all my scences.
