We share the Official Section of Cannes with Pedro Almodóvar with a short film with Ethan Hawke and Pedro Pascal. Out of competition, like us and others, is a great Spanish cinema: Víctor Erice who will be at the festival out of competition with 'Cerrar los ojos', in the Cannes Premiere Section.

The exhibition in special functions of "Les Femmes de Ramírez" and "RAMIREZ, Drama Musical Folk" will continue for 5 months after the end of the Festival at the end of May as agreed with the organization.

"Les Femmes de Ramírez" entered the  Official Section of the 76th Cannes Film Festival on March 3.  It is a short French version of the film of the original work by the writer and director from Entre Ríos, from the town of Finisterre, Daniel González Rebolledo.

Eduardo Retamar, is the author of the original scores and musical director of the work written by González Rebolledo.The movie of the theatrical play was filmed by Lucio Stoppello, and produced in various audiovisual formats for its promotion and international diffusion, seeking funds to finish producing the film in the spring of this year, and with excellent results, since "

Official Section of the 76th Cannes Film Festival.

On March 3, he arrived in the French town of Cannes, famous for the most prestigious international festival along with the Oscars, Golden Globes, BAFTA, Toronto, Berin and the Venice Film Biennale, where Lucio previously competed for sound engineering. or in teams in charge of creating film soundtracks.

Different fragments of the work in short format achieved Official Selection at 4 international festivals in London and Paris between January and February.

On March 3  "The women of Ramírez" ; short film of the work of the Author, Daniel González Rebolledo, Book ISBN: 978-987-4948-74-8, Year: 2020 published by Editorial Fundación La Hendija; entered the Official Selection of short films at the Cannes Film Festival for his first film, a classical musical film .

Lucio also participates in  Quinzaine des réalisateurs, the Filmmakers' Fortnight is an independent section that takes place at the French Film Festival .

The production is also participating in the  Marché du Film, Directors' Fortnight  and ACID .

The films in the Official Section participate in the Competition , Out of Competition or Un Certain Regard Categories . The selection committee makes decisions regarding the category in which a selected film will be screened.

"Las mujeres de Ramírez" from "RAMIREZ Drama Musical Folk",  participates in the competition, but registered with the option to participate out of competition, and remain on display for five (5) months after the end of the festival.

A milestone for cinema and theater in Entre Ríos

Lucio Stoppello is the first from Paraná to participate in  Quinzaine des réalisateurs, the Filmmakers' Fortnight,  the Short Film Corner , the Camera D`Or

 and the Marché du Film at the Cannes Film Festival.

Lucio V is also the first composer in the history of Entre Ríos to participate in Cannes, setting a historical precedent for music and composers from the Argentine province, on the world film scene.

"Las mujeres de Ramírez"  is a short film French version of the original work by writer and director Daniel González Rebolledo, with original music by Eduardo Retamar, filmed and produced by Lucio Stoppello, which is being presented for the first time in the Official Section of the 76th  Festival from Cannes .

Lucio Stoppello achieved Official Selection at 4 international festivals in London and Paris in January and February. On March 3 it entered the Official Selection of short films at the Cannes Film Festival for his feature debut, a classical film musical .

It arrived in the capital of the European theater in the first days of January 2023 to begin what we can affirm today, it is the first stage of a worldwide promotion of an Argentine play , and of the film in progress that will be finished in the spring.

The cast and directors were honored again on Thursday, March 2.

It has been exhibited in France and England since the beginning of January and went through the European market that took place at the 73rd Berlinale that recently concluded in Berlin.

"RAMIREZ The Musical Drama film" is an hour and a half long film of the play by Daniel González Rebolledo with original music by Eduardo Retamar, filmed  and produced by Lucio Stoppello . In addition  to remaining in England and France,  it continues in the international competition of the NIKON Film Festival in Japan. Its global exhibition and projection by VOD will last until April, reaching international film and theater markets, innovating in technologies and streaming and transmission platforms, applied to theatrical content. The cast of 41 artists is from Santa Fe and Entre Ríos, orchestra and choir, costumes, props and technique, arrived in London on January 5, and five days later  it was awarded and was included in the Official Selection at the legendary Pinewood Studios, where great figures have paraded since the days of Charlie Chaplin and Marilyn Monroe.

"RAMIREZ Drama Musical folk" arrived in London, in short film format and word soon spread among the folk-loving public and their contacts, that a new, independent musical, historical drama, was in town.
