“If we all believed that line then what is stopping us from killing each other mercilessly?” Nothing. Like nothing at all is stopping anyone from going off the rails. The reason I am scarred so horribly is because of the world inflicting us with a virus that wanted us to kill without mercy. You, do like genuinely realize this is a death game, right? People are going to kill and die no matter what we do, friendship or not; that is just how this fucking works. I believe and wish that, yes, this world ends kindly. That whoever the final one standing is in that position out of gentle circumstances. But my general understanding is that is not a certainty and never has been.
We are having this conversation because Sunset attacked Cat. This was merciless. Sunset has been nothing BUT merciless in his treatment of Laika.
I have things I wish to speak on, but the personal matters of my life are not something I should air so publicly. You have been granted the mercy of life again, because that is how this place works. When this is all over, I have not a damn clue what is going to happen to me. I am so sorry that you had to experience being killed, but also, this is a conversation of self defense. Innocent people attacked by someone who is known continuously to do nothing but hurt and terrorize. I do not know the situation you were in, perhaps it was the same, and shame on your killer. I wish them nothing but the worst. However, I do not particularly care to go further in depth on you or your situation right now. Because this conversation is not about you.
The comparisons to Cat are because, again, he was the one that was attacked. I’m not sure why that is not clicking for you. If Laika had not helped, it could’ve been Cat’s life lost. All that was done, to my understanding, was Sunset’s own words being spat back at him. But apparently that does not matter because you so vehemently want to hold high praises to a person who has done nothing but belittle, abuse, and manipulate.
