i think the āyou always have to be grateful and smile no matter what youāre going throughā has become an insane toxic coping mechanism weāve developed since covid and itās completely invalidating how hard some traumatic life events are for people entirely. you need to grieve!!! you need to feel sad!!! you donāt always have to be happy!!! and if people around you are refusing to help because they canāt handle your emotions then those people need to go too!!!
