My mother suffers from a severely enlarged thyroid. Every day she lives with pain, exhaustion, and difficulty breathing. Every day I watch her struggle and wonder how much longer she can keep carrying this burden.

I keep sharing her story because I refuse to give up on her. I refuse to believe that her pain will be ignored.

An enlarged thyroid is not just a cosmetic issue. In my mother’s case, it has grown large enough to affect her breathing and daily life. My mother lives with constant fatigue and discomfort. Simple daily activities have become much harder because of her condition. My mother’s thyroid has become severely enlarged, causing ongoing pain, pressure, and difficulty breathing. Watching her live with these symptoms every day is heartbreaking.
