Of course it's normal - all feelings are normal, you're not in control of them and therefore not responsible for them, only for how you act in response. Plenty of QPRs are exclusive, regardless of the types of acts involved.

Depending on the specifics, it might be worth asking them and their partner whether they might be open to this person being your queerplatonic partner anyway. Regardless - as long as you're respecting everyone's autonomy, no one can blame you for feelings.

This just seems like the most contrived and uninteresting premise ever.

I would simply not care. This would not affect my life in any way aside from giving me a night to not go into public spaces.

The plot appears to be that the two main characters meet on this day and want to have a real connection not just physical relationship with a relative stranger but (obviously) need to find that connection in time to have sex while it’s legal. Once again, I would simply not do that.

Teen aroace culture is coming out to your parents as aroace and then them constantly saying “well you might be aromantic/asexual or you might not be” over and over again. Every time you show disgust at romantic/sexual stuff and say your aroace. it’s clear that they are trying to be supportive, but every time they say it, it sounds like they are just waiting for time to go on and for you to realize it’s all a phase. And it’s clear that they very much don’t understand aroace ness (with how much they are infatuated with each other). And they are very much supportive of the queer community as a whole, every time they say dismissive words against you being aroace, a little part of you breaks.
