Hi I'm not aromantic or asexual (in fact I'm the opposite, I'm panromantic and pansexual) but I feel like I value platonic relationships more than romantic ones, am I valid? I just feel like it's so easy to fake romance but platonic love is so genuine and pure. Idk, am I weird for thinking this?

And there are plenty of non aros and aces who choose not to pursue romantic love. So I guess by that we value platonic relationships (or other things, like work) more. But if a person also have a romantic partner or more, maybe it would be a good idea to value them as much a you do your friends? Unless they are fine with it? But then again; it is totally acceptable to value rom-partners more than friends, so why canāt we do it the other way around? (just a thought) Anyway, you choose what you are going to prioritize in your life.Ā Ā Ā I donāt know you, or your experiences, but I think romantic love can be just as genuin depending on how you define romantic love. I mainly thought of this because of the last two episodes... She doesnāt seem to have had any romantic relations in a long while (Eskild, her friend, commented on it) but have had sexual ones. When her friend Noora gets back together with her boyfriend she is sad that this might mean that Noora will leave their collective home. Eskild comforts her and tells her that he will take care of her, and Linn will take care of him (QPR goals am I right!?)Ā
