Scale recreation of pliosaurus funkei, one of the most feared sea beasts of the middle / upper Jurassic.

I like to imagine that the phytofibers in the plumage of flying reptiles had a similar function to that of modern birds. In this case, researching I have noticed that some species of pteranodon lived near the coasts, so they could have plumage similar to that of the gannet.
