i just saw west side story and i gotta say i dont think a movie has ever left me this mad

If nothing else, Shadow and Bone has finally confirmed for me once and for all that Leigh Bardugo making the crows all really young was absolutely the right move and completely in character for all of them, if only because they all give off that strong "wouldn't you like to know, weatherboy" I'll-fight-god-in-a-denny's-parking-lot energy that teenagers have, and it just doesn't make sense if they're older. Like, of course Kaz is going to pick fights with the most powerful people around him with full confidence that he'll win. He's 17 and full of rage, he has no fear of death or the consequences of his own actions, the only thing he can't do is talk to the girl he likes. If he does that at however old Freddy Carter is pretending to be, then he just looks stupid.

Anybody else absolutely hate the Winx Netflix adaptation? Everything about it is just... wrong.
