He remembered all the things that happened.
He remembered what he did days before. He remembers his cries and curses in his room when he thought only about you. That you don't love him at all, because you left him for someone else.
You didn't want him, of course… he was ugly and disgusting. That human was better, right?
That human wasn't so disgusting…

But he can't be angry. You didn't know about his feelings before. Yet later you said no to him. When he poured his heart out for you, you rejected him. And part of him would be glad you're crying right now.
The second part hated it. And wanted you to smile.

When some time will pass… will you accept that this useless otaku loves you?
Thinking of that he hugged you, wrapping his tail around your whole body. He trembled a bit, trying to hold his tears. But at the same time he smiled with a broken smile. Trembling lips forming smiles of happiness, anticipation and part of being worried.
How much time will it take for you to look at him like you looked at that human?
All he wanted to do was not talk, and just take you to his room and play games. You always felt better after spending time with him. So maybe this time you also will feel comfort? You'll feed Henry. You'll look at water. You'll watch anime with him.
Then you'll hug… you'll kiss… you'll hold each other…
Huuuuh, that's so embarrassing to even imagine… but that's how he wants it. In each manga, in bad moments, closeness helped. Even if someone cries, you can hug them to make sure they're better. When it's your lover, you can even kiss.
And he knew you liked these things… he saw it… he knew it all…

When he was here these days you always had problems falling asleep. But in the end you also always asked him to watch anime or play games until you're sleepy.
It turned out you played all night, because whenever you closed your eyes you saw your lover leaving you to go on vacation… they hated you, right? They just left without notice… when you closed your eyes, too. You just had the feeling you have to open your eyes because you'll realize something too late.
But it was too late now anyways. Someone you loved left you behind… and also died… they broke your heart not once, but twice at the same time.
You cannot even hate them for doing that. You just… feel empty.
You really need to thank Levi for being so patient with you… when he takes care of you. He makes sure you don't have to sleep, so you don't have bad dreams.
You're tired… because of lack of sleep. Because of what happened.

Maybe if you knew they're going somewhere, maybe they would be alive now? Maybe they would now hold your hand and tell you how they love you? Maybe they would sit with you all night, watching series and movies while snacking?

“Do you… want to visit the beach…?” Leviathan asked with a blush on his face. “N-not like I'm asking to see you in a swimsuit! And also not to see you wet. I just– LEVIATHAN SHUT UP!”
You laughed a bit seeing that he's burning with embarrassment, with hands on his face.
“Yes, Levi, we can go.” You said slowly, not reacting to him screaming at himself to shut up.
You could hate the beach because your lover died here. But if it was true that they went there with someone else… you don't have what to hate at all.
They… drowned. That's what they told me. It was the middle of the day, with guards patrolling the beach. So everything happened because of an accident… or because your lover was a really stupid person…
It was one of the safest beaches around, so it wasn't possible for them to just go in and die… and no matter how it hurt for you to know the person you love is not here anymore… you know you have to keep going with life. There are people who still care for you the same. And one of these people was Levi, who is acting like he wants to take responsibility for bringing back your smile. After all these days, it really feels like it can become true again. You feel like you could let go of that love that was destined to end one day.
Destiny is for idiots… They say you cannot avoid it all. You can't know what your destiny is until it becomes true. You get love, it was destined. You die, it was destined. You lose everything, and that, too, was destined. Water also flows somewhere it should be. It always circles and that's its destiny. To flow without an end. Stupidity is also destined.
And what happened also, was one and only destiny.
Levi would never forget you. He would never let go of his true feelings. He finally fell in love with a person, that's why he can't just let go of that. Even if you said you don't feel the same, he could still love you. He would cry for hours. He would think that nothing makes any sense. Left alone with only his brothers, without anyone who would listen to him without laughing. Because you came back to your world, and decided to accept some human… you loved someone else… you abandoned him… he wanted you to feel that… he wanted you to be sorry for him.
But at the same time he wanted to be your everything when you needed him.
His emotions mixed when he observed your life for days. Your online activity. Sometimes seeing you, using recordings he had of you. Sometimes just standing near your house for a moment. Leaving when he saw you with your lover, when he started crying, knowing you won't ever love him.
If he said that quicker, would you love him?
Would you accept his feelings?
Would you be his?
If he was quicker than that human… you would say you love him too…
It wasn't your fault… it was that human's fault… because they appeared. Because they decided to take his place by your side.
Because they wanted to be close to you, he didn't have any chance left. And he knew…he knew you had feelings for him. But he was too late…. Too late for his own good.
When he knew that your new lover is going to the beach, he knew he would do something that will make you two separate ways.
He never really thought about it much, but when his plans started, he couldn't back off. No matter how scared he would feel, he was a demon. No one will judge him for doing what he's about to do.
It was some time since he was fully in water… in his demon form, using tail and ability to be underwater for a long time. Using part of him he never actually used. But today he needed too.
He had a hard time seeing who was entering the water. But when the waves rose, he made a move, pulling someone underwater. And knowing who that was made him even more motivated. They could fight all they could, but the water snake tail around their legs wouldn't go out.
With water keeping them under it, he let go, staring up at the human above him. Deep blue working as his background. But compared to that human, he wasn't scared of what's deeper. That was his element. A place where not many demons can go.
Panic, fear. Go ahead and try to scream. Do that, human. And you'll just lose oxygen and energy. You'll die even quicker.
He didn't even touch them. He just was in place, thin membranes on his glowing eyes protecting them from water. Narrow pupils looking straight at that person without changing.
They knew him. They knew that they met that thing before. And that caused even more fear. That thing was your friend. Levi. That quiet otaku who never paid attention. Deep inside, monster.
When they tried to swim away, water current stopped them, forcing them to stay, pushing them to their limits of oxygen. The demon in the water didn't even budge. Without visible breathing, without blinking he was still here, slowly observing bubbles leaving nostrils and mouth.
Moving gracefully, he swam away a bit, opening his arms for a giant sea monster to appear. Very silently, very slowly. Not to cause commotion. Water deep enough so it won't be seen, that's how deep Leviathan pulled them.
Mute screams came out of the human, letting out all of their air in their lungs. Welcoming water in their throat. In panic, they couldn't even close their lips, causing it all to sweep with sea water.
With hands on neck, fighting, they lost their energy quicker and quicker. The sea monster disappeared in the water, like it wasn't even here. It wasn't here to eat that human. Lotan was summoned just to scare them. To make sure they'll die with long death. Slowly and painfully. In the most normal place. There's a lot of humans dying in water. Another one won't be anything unusual.
The blue colors of the sea didn't hide that purple face. The face of a person who cannot get away from water. Someone who started sinking deeper, because of panic. But even if they didn't panic, Leviathan wouldn't let them live. He was here for one thing. To watch them die. Just because they decided to do something they should regret. They don't deserve you. They don't know you.
Levi is the one who knows you. He knows you love him too. If you didn't, you would hate him… and you always were with him.
He had no regrets when sea creatures pulled them down enjoying the sight of drowning humans. Gulping water like crazy. With a face purple from pressure.
It was the end of the most annoying human ever alive.
Sometimes holding your hand was too much for him. It was almost unreal…
And when you agreed to that, he thought his heart would jump out of his chest.
Sun shining above you. Water moving by the shore, reaching your feet.
It should have been traumatic for you… walking with someone right next to the sea, when your ex lover drowned some time ago… but that was their stupidity, right? After talking with Levi a lot, you realized that you were betrayed. No matter what you wanted to think, there was no way they would go on vacation without you just to be alone. They wanted to hide something… And it hurt even more than thinking that they died.
Deep inside you felt… almost glad it happened. You don't have to worry. You don't have to waste time on them. You can just give your best for people who actually care for you. Who never stopped loving you, even if you rejected them before. Even if Levi was sad before, or even could hate you, now he was so lovely and cute again. So sweet, squeezing your hand when he was walking, nervously.
But he was also staring at the sea… too much. With no one around, you were alone here. Devildom beach. Was this one Diavolo's? Maybe… it's private for sure… beautiful…
“Do you… want to come back to the House of lamentation?” He asked suddenly, turning to the water, hands in his pockets. Letting go of your fingers. He never looked at you, because he was shy again.
“... Can I?” You asked, standing next to him, moving your head to lean on his shoulder. Something that of course will make him go crazy.
His heartbeat rose very quickly, but he didn't step away.
He had what he wanted. Even if he's not perfect socially, he was able to get rid of them… he was able to assure that you'll be with him. He had nothing to hide anymore. Now it's you and him, without anyone who's going to disturb you. And his main goal was just to have you by his side, so you'll look only at him. And he will have the feeling that you won't love anyone else.
Even if he needs a lot of reassurance.
He was really emotional. The corners of his lips are rising a bit. Eyebrows arched up, like he was about to cry.
He will finally be happy, right?
You'll finally love him forever, like he imagined… right?
You'll play games. You'll watch anime, series, and movies. You'll read. You'll talk about your favourite characters and moments from each. You'll eat food. You'll gather snacks. You'll have marathons. You'll stay all night. You'll sit in his room. You'll be happy for his merch. You'll love his figurines. You'll accept that he will hold your hand to sleep.
“I didn't know it would be that easy…” you said with a soft voice. “To keep going after all of that.”
“That was very easy after ending it.” He said almost mindlessly, still imagining pictures of you two in his room. Forever lovers.
He didn't know what he actually said. And his words were more suspicious that they should be.
“Ending loving them?”
“Ending them… it was easier than I expected –” he shut up when it was already too late.
A smile disappeared from his lips, eyes widened. His face went pale.
You moved slightly away from him, making him panic even more.
“I- me-ant you ending with them!” He said very quickly. “T-that y-you ended with your feelings for them! It was easier than I expected!”
“I heard you for the first time…” you said with a serious tone, backing away a bit.
WHAT DOES HE DO NOW?! It'll be even more suspicious if he keeps talking?! What is he supposed to do?!
“MC…”
“Don't…there's something… really wrong here…” you said, raising your hand to signalize him to stop walking towards you.
“N-nothing is w-wrong! Hahaha…” he laughed, you could hear tremors in his voice very easily.
“Then why are you in your demon form?” A question flew out of your mouth to hit him directly into the chest. His body froze, realizing his tail suddenly swinging to the sides with dissatisfaction. His head bowed a little, shoulders slumped closer to his chest. He looked down, then his eyes rolled up to look at you, with head down.
What is he supposed to do?
What should he do?
You know more than he thought now…
Why is he so STUPID?!
Why can't he shut up when he can?!
Why is he the worst demon alive?!
Why can't he lie more?!
Why does he need to be so open to you?!
Why is his mind not working like it should when you're around?!

Why did he turn out to be an idiot, who casually decided to murder a human, even if he's too stupid to keep it a secret?!

“I always loved you… since we started being closer. But no… you decided to leave me….you decided to laugh at me using love for someone else. And were they worth it?”
“Le–”
“Do you really want to know how it hurts? To have you tell me you don't love me? It took all my strength to not hate you… and if I didn't love you now… you would be long gone… with your lovely human lover, who was your perfect match…”
He walked like a zombie, slowly but steadily taking small steps towards you.
He was broken…
Tears slowly falling down his cheeks.
“I liked it… watching them die… because I thought that I'll make you mine…”
You were frozen in fear, staring at a demon in front of you. Someone who clearly didn't want to talk anymore.
“See… what you did to me…?” He smiled weirdly. Painfully but playfully.
He… made you feel guilty about what's happening to him.
“...I wanted for us to be happy… I wanted to have what you have THEM! AND YOU CAN'T EVEN GIVE THAT TO ME WITHOUT HATING ME?!”
With a sudden burst of anger, you moved your feet to run, only to slip on wet sand.
He quickly came closer to you, making you put your guard up, trying to defend yourself.
He laughed with pain, but didn't stop.
His tail wrapped around your ankle, when he started walking towards the sea.
“...shall we calm down…? I know that bath in the sea will help…” he murmured like he was possessed.
Your sliding body started making traces on the sand. Panic rose as your clothes were wet because of sea water.
First were your legs, then hips. Levi didn't stop here, he just pulled you further and further. To the point he wasn't able to walk, so he started swimming.
Your head was underwater for a longer time, before you rose up, trying to breathe. He let you for now, but later your body was pulled underwater again. Deeper and deeper. Until the sun was only some light above, not able to reach you.
He appeared in front of you, placing forehead on yours. Not knowing what he's doing. Slowly killing you in spur of emotions.
“You'll calm down…” his mouth said, and you could read his lips. No sound came to your ears because of water.
Your lungs hurt because of holding air, but you couldn't let go. If you do, you'll drown.
Maybe he will think about it…
But no. He was just here, smiling slightly, looking at your face. Thinking you're calming down.
Crazy facial expressions didn't change.
All your fight was slowed down. Everything was useless. You stayed suffering with your head pounding. Your body is panicking and moving too much. Trying to swim up, you couldn't, because he held you down. His body wrapped around yours, tight. Hugging you with a small smile.
Water is calming down… water is nice. The water is beautiful. Just look at these fish!
In one moment your mouth opened, like your body was desperate. And that moment was the last one you felt, as water poured in your lungs, effectively suffocating you. Panicking body gulped it more and more, pulling it through the nose.
Painful and disturbing. No matter how much you pulled his clothes, he didn't let go. You sank deeper and deeper. With him hugging you.
Your consciousness is slipping with each passing second.
He thought you're finally calming down.
He smiled more.
But when he looked at your face, his smile disappeared, seeing you unconscious and not breathing. Last air bubbles escaping your mouth to fly up. Your body is just floating without any tension.
He regained his senses and started screaming and panicking.
Too late.
“Can you pass me the coke?” The purple haired demon asked you when you sat down, playing a game. Level was saving, so he decided to drink something. You moved right away, letting him have a can. “Ooh, also, Asmo said he wanted to give you his new bath bomb. He got the whole bag, and wanted to share it with you.”
“...really?” You looked at him, smiling a bit, thinking about these gorgeous bath bombs he showed you before.
“Yeah, go relax a bit. I'll finish that new level alone.” He said, starting to play alone, building around your avatar so you won't die when you're away from the game.
“...I don't think I want to be in water.”
“Hm?” He gulped, looking at you.
“...I don't know… I have feelings… that I don't want to, sometimes… I had a bad dream a few days ago and… I may sound childish but I'm scared of water?”
“...d-dont worry! If you want I'll come with you. And that's not childish at all!” He stayed moving his hands like crazy, with small blush, and panic.
“... sure.” You smiled at his blush. Then he realized that he proposed that you take a bath together…
He blushed and smiled embarrassingly. But deep inside he was screaming with joy.
He finally managed to have you the same as you were… and that water thing… you can work through it together.
The best part is you don't remember what was that “dream” and who was that person who drowned. Months ago already.

I feel like lore is really getting to us after all these years.

Just imagine someone who is an angel’s descendant letting go of their humanity. Allowing sin sip through their heart.
Human who always smile brightly are suddenly different. And they don't know their new body, just like Satan. Everything they felt was sin circling in their body, they couldn't feel themselves.
The same as Satan, who felt his wrath whenever anything happened. Before he understood who he was. Before he found true himself.
So why did a demon who kept being human for so long suddenly lost it?
Because humans let go and allow sins to control them. They take pleasure. And demons are sins. This is what creates their beings.
And in the end no one can be freed. Not angels, not humans. The moment they fall into sin, it's over.
When MC changed, they didn't know that turning into demon completely separated their personality.
As they were angels… they also have been different.
Lucifer wasn't so prideful before. Now he is a demon of pride.
Mammon wasn't greedy. He wanted good for everyone. Now he wants everything for himself.
Leviathan wasn't envying others. Now he looks at them with fanaticism, wanting to have the same.
Asmodeus loved others. But now his love takes a different form. Pure love changing into physical one.
Beelzebub was a power and shield. Could stay his guard for days so everyone is safe. Now he cannot get enough food. He won't be fine with one piece. He needs more and more.
Belphegor never was so hateful. As much as he liked sleeping, now it all took a different form of hate and reluctance to act.
And now MC, that was just a human who spent too much time in sin. Freshly created demons who never found their true being in that darkness.
Yet. Control over new behaviours is a long way for them.

Lucifer: Mr. Pride would of course care about how his private area looks like. If you would ever even touch ONE hair on him, that would hurt his pride. I think he would be one with the least hair, not wanting them to be seen.
Mammon: hear me out now, he may be not the biggest "hairy balls owner" but you could clearly see that there IS something on his balls. And he can't be bothered by it so much. Yet I think they would be small and visible only because of their light color and his darker skin.
Leviathan: I WOULD say that he WOULD have them, but in my eyes Levi would be the one with the least hair. Especially on his balls... His skin is light, probably thin because of being water demon. I think his hair would also he on thinner side naturally, so balls would look almost clean.
Satan: on the other hand, I think would have the most normal balls from all. You could see some of them, but he would like to be clean. Yet he won't be s mo bothered by them (unlike Lucifer) There is some, but it's not the BUSH
Asmo: ooh, I think asmo would have the prettiest balls. Ahem... I don't think Asmo would like his balls to grow hair that would not look good, or would make him look unclean. That's why he takes care of every small hair that would ever grow, because he wants to be neat.
Beel: I'm sorry but from everything I ever saw and heard, would be the one with the biggest hair on balls. Just by his completion and how his hair looks. + He's more masculine than others, what would make him grow more hair. Of course he takes care of his body, but I don't think he would care about some hair that's not bothering anyone.
Belphie: as much as I would love to say that he would be neat, I think he would have normal amount, just like Satan, but they would be more visible. - he can't be bothered to do anything about them too. Why would he try to shave his own balls?
Diavolo - I KNOW YOU'RE WAITING FOR HIM. The same case as with Beel. Less visible, but still here. He's a man, so you can't tell him to even worry about them. He takes care of his body and he wants to be clean, but I don't think he would care so much about hair on balls. (Unless you tell him you don't like them)
Bonus for @ninalphashyyy - Dia's dad would be the same case too. But he wouldn't care even if someone told him about it. THESE ARE KING'S BALLS AND YOU DON'T HAVE RIGHT TO JUDGE HIS HAIR.
Barbatos: pretty normal, almost too clean. Simeon: casual ball fluff which you won't be able to get rid off, it's not bothering anyone. You can't even feel it properly. He is like he's always fresh and clean.
Solomon: hmm... Let's say he got normal human balls. That means that he would have some hair, but normal amount without even being visible. (He just got white hair everywhere after all these years)
