I used to love the low single.... In folkstyle I used to ride legs.. In freestyle I loved head locks and leg laces..

Today I was talking to a friend.. I mentioned to her that I was currently seeing someone and that I have been for the past two months. It’s still something fairly new and we’re still getting to know each other. However, she shared with me that this person has a reputation of being a player. And literally with that my heart sank... 

I thought to myself, “boy Arielle, do you know how to pick them” but at the same time, I couldn’t help but think to myself, if this person turns out to be a player, that’s okay. Because the only person missing out on someone great would be him, not me.  I’m at that point in my life where I’m not trying to play games. Games are pointless. I’m too busy preparing for the rest of my life and if someone wants to be in my life, I’m going to let them, but play games, not so much. I genuinely care about people, I invest my time and emotions into the people I care about, and I would hope that they do the same. If this person ends up playing me, it’s not going to change who I am. 

In the past, I’ve been cheated on, played, continuously lead on only to be left in the cold, used and abused. Yet, I still stand here today willing to give my heart out to the next person willing to give theirs in return. Karma is a bitch and I am currently watching the people who fucked me over get theirs. I know I’m a good person and that I am always 100% genuine, I know what I’m worth, and I know that I’m a damm good girlfriend. So if shit doesn’t work out, then fuck it, it wasn’t meant to work out. It’s probably going to suck for a bit, but I’ve been heart broken before, I know that things will eventually get better and that it’s not the end of the world.
