Foxing Hour

So I don't usually share stuff like this in detail, I'm very private by default, but today has been such a day of all time that I might as well. TLDR: I finally got a few stolen hours with my girlfriend. On her birthday, of all days. The logistics of seeing each other are complicated, due to her family and her current home situation, but we finally managed to make it work. Even if that meant me booking an Airbnb for two nights (she didn't even stay over), her having to get creative with what she told her mum about her whereabouts, and us working against a hard six hour time limit. Things got... well... hot and heavy nonetheless. We spent about three hours just curled up together, and under different circumstances I'm pretty sure things would have very much escalated. Even as it was, as we were heading out so she could catch her train, she pinned me against the apartment door and honestly, if we hadn't started getting ready when we did, that train would not have been caught. Anyway. I miss her terribly. More than usual, which is saying something, but that was also to be expected. We were both finally ready to say exactly how we feel though, and despite the logistics, the time limit, and the low-key PDA awareness that just comes with being a lesbian couple in public, this was an absolute dream. I don't say this lightly: I love her. Most ardently. I want to grow old with her. We'll both change, obviously, but I'm completely certain she'll be someone I adore for a very long time. Maybe forever. And she feels the same. It feels so safe and incredibly secure. Like with her everything feels easy, and even when it isn't, it feels like something we can handle together. Sometimes I can hardly believe it's real. I count myself incredibly lucky. Maybe that's where all my luck went in this life, into finding her.
