it can't all be for nothing.

i’m applying for a study abroad program at my school! because of the nature of this program, if i get accepted, the vast majority of the cost will be covered by my scholarships! however, i do have to pay for a passport, as the money doesn’t get applied for a while. even if i don’t get accepted, i’ll need a passport in the future, as i hope to meet a couple very close friends of mine who live overseas.

the passport comes out to about $140 after processing fees and similar, and i’d like to apply for it by the end of the year! this isn’t at all an emergency, though, so don’t feel too pressed!
