ok so firstly, a little heads up, ive been watching ninjago since TOE and since then, attached myself to the og ninja (zane, cole, kai, jay, nya, lloyd)

like, i’ve genuinely found myself at one point stalking updates and leaks and slaved myself to this one youtuber who’d post ninjago (tannerfishes my goat)

i was watching the leaked episodes on yt long before theyd appear on netflix and

this was the case too for dr s1, i watched all 10 episodes on yt whilst looking for leaks n stuff

ive stopped at s2 because i thought theyd go to the idea where they actually use laloyd’s heritage instead of sweeping it under the rug like they did in s1,

IF he’s actually gonna get an evil arc, im compelled to watch the whole show for it.

the problem: as i said, ive attached myself with the oj ninja, so i didnt fw with arin or sora and i know thw whole point of dr is those two and some others thatll aso get introduced later on, acting as the mcs of the show

i didnt watch it as i felt the oj ninjas were reduced to side characters atp, hell jay, cole, master wu, pixel wasnt even in s1 and didnt zane only appear at like the last ep of s1??

are the rest of the series better in terms of characterization and plot?

shouldn’t El be his LATE girlfriend? ‘Ex-’ is a prefix meant to signify something being former or no longer. In this case, Mike and El were together before she died. (Otherwise why would they kiss?) Now, the word ‘late’ (in this context), means ‘formally living’ or ‘recently deceased’. The better term for El’s relation to Mike would be his late girlfriend, not ex.

For example:

Steve is Nancy’s ex-boyfriend.

Bob is Joyce’s late boyfriend.

(if you have to explain your own show then it proves it doesn’t make sense. ALSO if you’re gonna explain your OWN show, why word it like you don’t really know the answers? You’re (one of) the writers PLEASEEE

its obvious but plot-wise, doesnt make sense. Kali and El know about them, they both wouldn’t (have chose to) forget them 🫩🫩 (Only plausible idea i can think of rn is that if they chose to tell the others abt the pregnant women, they’d expose their double suicide plan 💀)

its (kind of) obvious El is dead. 1) I dont think Kali would’ve survived long enough considering her injury was fatal enough Hopper and El left her 💀 2) They confirm later on Mike was just hallucinating 💀💀

they rlly ruined his character rlly more (to the audience who watch the show face-value) even after the show ended 🫩🫩🫩

“The week is long” — In S1, Will is found A WEEK after his disappearance. The whole S1 spans a week long. This could also be interpreted the week right now, Jan 1st > Jan 7th (A week long between the finale and the announcement Netflix made)

“the silver cat feeds” —

In the periodic table, SILVER’s atomic number is 47. We can interpret this number either separately on as a whole,

4th Chakra — Mike is referred to as “The Heart of the Party”

7th Chakra — Will is being placed between the Rightside Up and the Abyss,

Now, this is a reach but,

Will’s CONNECTION to the hive mind, to Vecna. The “spiritual realm” is Vecna’s mind. Camazotz. S5 Ep5, Will uses this ability to hijack Vecna’s mind (in Camazotz) and save Max and Holly

We are literally “discovering” the “easter eggs” in S5 (more obvious in the epilogue)

Thessalhydra, a creature Will paints and “A creepy monster with a gaping mouth.” —> The vision Nancy sees, she says this, its heavily theorized to be the Thessalhydra.

We can connect this to the False Hydra, a DND creature.

Memory Wipe — this is basically the base of conformitygate, where Mike/and the audience are being Vecna’d thus stuck in his illusion of a life in conformity. Joyce forgets Will’s age back in S1, saying he’s 11 but in reality he was 12 was he disappeared. Will’s birthday is also seemingly forgotten by everyone in S4.

Hidden Body — In Mike’s basement (epilogue), theres a pizza box titled “PIZZA ONE”, “Piece of One.” A piece of Henry, of Vecna. In one of the bookshelves we see a 3-dimensional shape of a Thessalhydra. 3 dimensions (excluding Upside down as it’s a wormhole) 1.) Rightside up 2.) Dimension X/Abyss 3.) Camazotz (It’s Henry’s mind where El can’t reach)

Growing Heads — Joyce beheads Vecna in the final battle. Who’s to say Vecna’s actually dead? What if, he comes back, this time with 3 more heads?)

Weaknesses — The monster relies on playing a song to alter player’s memories. But in this context, the song is a SAFEGUARD to our character, it helps them ESCAPE Vecna’s grab. At the end of the finale, “Heroes” plays. What if, Will and the others are the cause of this? They’re playing the song to help Mike get out of the trance, to HELP him escape.

“When blue meets yellow in the west.” — This can literally mean MIKE and WILL are the key in defeating Vecna, in a sense help Mike escape,

In the bar scene, an exit sign is placed above Will’s

The theaters are the ones pricing them. Basically they're called concession vouchers, you then use those vouchers to exchange for snacks to watch the finale with.

I see some people think it started after Ep 7, or in the epilogue but I personally think it happened after Volume 1.

Volume 1 Mike is entirely different than the Vol 2/3 Mike we see.

S5 Vol 1. Mike get’s Vecna’d theory

This was supported by:

Drinking Coffee. We see him drink coffee twice, at the start of the season and in the hospital. Its also important to not that Nancy didn’t drink the cup Mike gave her nor did we see anyone else drink coffee. Coffee can do 2 things:

 caffeine blocks adenosine, a brain chemical that promotes sleepiness. (Nightmares)

coffee can help headaches by narrowing swollen blood vessels and boosting pain relievers like aspirin. (Headaches)

Dozing off. Mike dozes (or dissociates) in the hospital scene. He didn’t hear Nancy talking to him and was only out of it after Nancy repeatedly shook him. (Like in a trance)

Clock chimes. A signature Vecna move. During the Mac-Z battle, Vecna doesn’t make any noise to alert anyone he arrives (so how did Mike see him?) When he arrives, a chime can be heard then Mike turns to look at him. (Mike also was the first)

I say Post Vol 1 and not Vol 2 because throughout Vol 2 we don’t see Mike experiencing any other symptoms anymore, Vol 2 Mike was also basically a cardboard cut-out, he was reduced to a background character.

Vol 2 is also where inconsistencies start:

Objects changing color. It starts in Camazotz, a world in Vecna’s mind. Examples are: the playground and the dial that turns the radio tower on.

Will acts weirdly. Vol 1 Will had hope for his ‘crush’, it then dissipates in Vol 2, that quickly? (Mike is not Will’s Tammy) In the tunnels, Will calls the children Vessels and Lucas and Mike look at him weirdly after, Will then immediately says that ‘it was what Henry told him’ (Will wouldn’t call the children vessels) Does Henry and Will’s mind start to fuse? Yes, it’s especially obvious during his coming out scene, he says these:

Melvald’s Diner, it was a convenience store Joyce worked at, the diner was in the 50’s during Henry’s time.

Getting lost in the woods, that’s literally his trauma why would that be any fun for him?

Calling Mike is Tammy and a crush, Mike is not a crush, he’s the love of Will’s heart. Tammy was someone Robin had a crush on, she was just her classmate nothing else. Mike and Will are best friends, since kindergarten. S1-2 Mike was very protective of Will too.

The checkers floor, it parallels to the scene with Henry and El in S4, where they play chess, and Henry had 12 pieces on the board, similar to the fact there were 12 people Will was coming out to (maybe that’s why there were people Will wasn’t close to)

Mike doesn’t show any symptoms but we see his hand switch in Vol 2, at the start of Ep 5, Kali’s illusion fails to keep up if she’s too far (Her hand is the one that is shown to support that)

Will and Mike drift apart in Vol 2/3, they never had scenes alone or any conversations after. (The radio tower scene was only added because Noah asked)

The epilogue is the ending Vecna shows Mike. (There are many evidences) He conforms his life, he becomes like his dad and drifts apart from his friends. Mike imagines the party living out their lives but not him. (“What about the storyteller?”) It’s weird they call Mike the storyteller when he’s their Paladin. (He’s still part of the story)

He imagines El far away in a journey, paralleling what the False Hydra can do.

Basically, it captures the town into a false reality. ✅ and for those who die, their loved ones will think that they are just far away, in their own journey, still alive. (El) ✅ El is dead. Kali’s injury was fatal that Hopper and El had left her, she wouldn’t have survived that long to create that illusion.

Its important to note that after they save Holly, she expels the Mindflayer. (Where does it go?) The Mindflayer in its gaseous (smoke) form is still alive, we see this in S2. After Joyce, Jonathan and Nancy expel the Mindflayer from Will using its weakness (heat), it travels to abandoned warehouse, where it then leads Billy and consumes him.

Mike is stuck in Vecna’s illusion, where its seemingly a happy ending but it’s not. He’s stuck in a world where he and his family conforms. This explains why it was so easy to kill Vecna and the Mindflayer (remember Eddie says you can’t kill Vecna because there’s still the Eye and Hand of Vecna’s? “It was just a thought.”)

fool me twice, shame on me, (Finale's reaction), Left many plotholes, byler bones (yes, we were queerbaited) and an ambiguous ending when the duffers said that they wouldn’t do those kinds of endings.

fool me thrice, shame on us” (Conformitygate), the theory is great, explains the ending and gives us what we wanted (theory is based on the weird way the epilogue was handed), BUT we also had many great theories before which never came through, most didn’t even get brought up (the theories were greatly supported with past events). If the conformity theory is wrong, it’s just shame on us, making us (bylers) look stupid to other communities (M11, homophobes, GA) and tells them that we couldn’t accept the ending, only making us look bad. Shame on the duffers for leading us here (again, conformity gate is based on what THEY gave us, we are simply using it), shame on them for the ending they gave us.
