TL;DR: I think that in the Danger Days comics, when the Phantom in National Anthem died, she became the Pheonix Witch.
To anyone that has read (or knows a bit about) the Danger Days comics, I need to know if I'm either going crazy or if I actually have a decent theory.
(If this is already common knowledge and I just figured it out late then I apologise.)
I think the Phantom from National Anthem (right) is the Pheonix Witch (left).
The main reason I think this is because I want to, but I do have other points, I promise.
So my theory is that the Phantom, after dying, got trapped on Earth and decided to rebrand herself as the Witch to help other souls.
She either got trapped on Earth because of the powers she is shown to possess in National Anthem, or because when her assistant cremated her, we see she kept the Phantom's mask.
I do understand that the whole "using the mask to help them move on" thing is mainly only fab four and post-SING lore, but I do think that it may be connected somehow.
Another reason (which is more of a stretch) is that before we cut to the Phantom helping Kara, the line "Do you know why men created God" is spoken.
He then answers his own question by saying "Because they need to be controlled by something other than themselves", which is shown over a panel depicting the Phantom's hideout.
It is a bit of a stretch, but I do like the idea that it could be hinting at the killjoys considering the Phantom to be a God and possibly making her one after the Analog wars and towards the beginning of BLi's rise.
We can also guess that the Pheonix Witch is only worshiped as a God after National Anthem has finished because (as far as I can remeber) she isn't mentioned, and we also see Mike wearing his signature jacket that says "Mother Mary Save Us", suggesting that the new deities aren't around yet.
The Pheonix Witch also, when telling the girl how to destroy Battery City, explains that Cherri and her "have known each other since a long time and a different world ago."
I know this is assuming that Cherri Cola was alive in the Analog wars, and that the Witch could just be saying that metaphorically, however, I think it would be interesting if she meant her time alive on Earth.
This is all I really have on this theory right now, but let me know what you think!

Sorry about the lack of Dangers Days and Killjoys posting recently.
To make up for it, would anyone like my theories on how we actually see Dr. Death, the girls mum, and the Pheonix Witch in the National Anthem/prequel comics?
I'm gonna post it soon anyways, and this may be me being late to the party with this idea, but I really wanna get it out there :)
