Does anyone know about that horror movie The Others (2001)? I saw this clip of scene where the two kids were talking to a couple of people around a table that were trying to communicate and make contact with the dead.
Turned out the two kids alongside their mother had died a long time ago. They thought they were haunted by ghosts, when in reality, they are the ghosts.
The two kids kept repeated that they are not dead. While the mother then shook the table furiously before ripping of the papers the living used to make contact with them.
Imagine you're John Richard Papen and you died during the winter before college return. But you didn't know you are dead. So you just return to college and continue your routines. But at night, you always have the same dream.
Walking down the hallways of campus that seemingly stretched far without an end. Leaving papers with your handwriting on it on various places in campus.
Then one day, you were drawn to a group of students who were doing an ouija game late at night. You're used to seeing some students had tried some kind of ghost game over the past couple of months. But this one, there's this strange feeling in your chest that made you stay longer.
Then came the first question. How did you die, Richard? You merely replied no, I'm not dead. I'm literally standing beside the table. They returned an uneasy glances between each other before one of them lit a candle.
As soon as the candle was lit, it quickly went out. They lit the candle again, then it went out. Third time, and not even 5 seconds before the flame vanished. They whispered, he's here...
Questions after questions came until they finally showed proofs of your death. You soon were filled with annoyance. You denied it repeteadly. They, in pleading voice, asked you again. Why did you still stay here even after death?
You have enough. You grabbed the ouija board then throw it accross the room. You ran out of the room before scribbling the walls of corridors with thick ballpoint, saying I'm Not Dead all over it. You returned to Monmouth and banged the doors of each room loudly.
It was a chaos that night. You tried talking to some students who's already left their room, but no one replied. You grabbed their shoulders before they backed off and you saw a bruise was forming on their skin. In desperation, you screamed from the top of your lungs.
It sounded horrible. All of them freeze in place. Then they hurriedly entered their room again and locked it.
You were left alone in the hallways of Monmouth with a new realization. You have been dead this whole time.
