honestly , the understanding that druids will outlive the rest of their party ( if they die naturally of course ) by thousands of years makes them so sexy to play . like , their time with the people theyâre fighting , surviving , and bonding so deeply with is just a little blip in their lives . and i think playing them with it in mind that they might look back and barely remember the people they were with , or the things they fought are inconsequential to what theyâre now fighting . i donât know man , druids are cool .Â
and really all this just leads me to thinking of arie ? after auster is dead and their daughter becomes queen and she the queen dowager ? does she stay and over shadow her daughter , of course not . she must come and go , sends for her grandchildren every year in the spring and returns with them to court in the winter . a new spouse , in tow . her daughters sad , but understanding . her sons ( who do not take to the druid line ) , taking much longer to come to terms with them .
does she find love again ? even after austâs death sheâs still so young , and has more of her life ahead of her than behind . does she have multiple lives ? multiple loves and homes and families ? maybe she moves home to court , finally , when her grandson begins his reign ? itâs been long enough since her own that she will not steal his spotlight .
