"Don't Judge"
Teens all over the nation have been putting on makeup and dotting on acne as they've swept up in the new and exciting "Don't Judge Challenge." Meanwhile, I'm sitting over here -- glasses on my face because I haven't figured out echolocation and yet am still as blind as a bat; acne on my cheeks because I enjoy being an active pizza cosplayer -- being told that I'm what ugly looks like... Thanks for not judging me, I guess.
It’s time to do something about the human rights violations happening to world cup construction workers in Qatar.
Together, we can stop this.
We all live in a porcelain reality; how much of your face is a mask?

Introducing BLUE PAD* -- it’s like Yellow Pad, but blue.
*Despite it’s absorptive properties, BLUE PAD is not to be confused with BluePad, the feminine hygiene product for Smurfs.
Brainwashed Sad
I propose that we have been brainwashed into being sad. (Not, of course, those of us who have every right to be sad -- those who have lost loved ones or experienced heartbreak or any number of very sad things -- but those of us who do not.) Every day we are told that our lives are small, insignificant, sad little specks marring the grand scheme of things. We are but the threads of the threads in the infinite tapestry of the universe, and we are reminded of it everyday by our bland insignificant lives filled with all sorts of insignificantly bland people. Time and time again we are told that we should be sad, and so, as with anything said often enough, we eventually come to accept it as truth; eventually, we are brainwashed into being sad, and we become miserable people who forget how to do little of anything but complain about how sad we are: “Why, oh why,” we moan, “can we not be like the children; so filled with love, joy and wonder? Why do we have to grow up and so clearly see the truth of this cruel world?” All the while, we conveniently forget that eyesight always dims with age. Children -- who see far more clearly than the rest of us -- are by and large the most self assured beings in the universe. They look out with new eyes and see a universe that revolves around them, but they do it without ego or pride; this is simply the way things are, for a child does not believe that their nursery ceiling is painted to look like the sky, rather, the sky is painted look like their ceiling. This is, perhaps, the very thing that we have all been so carefully brainwashed to forget; for as we cover the stars on our ceilings with the muted paints of adulthood we forget that the threads do not look like their tapestry; instead, the tapestry looks like it’s threads. If this is true -- if we live in a universe that does not define us, but is defined by us-- then we live in a universe that is only as sad, or as happy, as we choose it to be. The world will continue, every second of every day, to tell us what sad miserable lives we lead; after all we eventually came to believe it the first time around. Yet if we choose to be happy people how can our lives go on being miserable? If we choose, each and every day, to see all of the joy, love, and wonder that this world holds then will we not at last begin to combat the mentality of misery that has so long beleaguered us? If, finally, we see ourselves not as insignificant, but as invaluable, will we not then change the tapestries of our lives through our thoughts and our actions? Indeed, we will. Consequently, I propose that we brainwash ourselves into being happy.
I'm a queer person of color and I absolutely adore your works and I was wondering if you had any idea on how I could make my experiences relatable to a more "mainstream audience," or, rather, to any agents or publishers who care about what they imagine is their mainstream audience. I know that there are people like me who exist, many of whom love and identify with your characters, but how can I make characters that resemble my experiences easier for white, cisgendered, heterosexual audiences?
Here is a secret of writing: if you write a person who people can care about, readers will read about them. Never lose sight of that.
You have unique stories, your stories, ones only you can tell. Tell them. I’m much more interested in them than I am in you trying to make them less true and less interesting to please an imaginary audience.
If publishers and agents don’t like them, go around the publishers and the agents, and publish directly — there are so many ways to do that these days. But write your stories. Don’t compromise. You can trust your readers, of all genders and skin colours and experiences to follow you, if you are honest with them.
Ladies and Gentlepeople, I've said it before and I'll say it again; Neil Gaiman is awesome.
The Meaning of Life
Sometimes we really can't see the forest for all the trees.
We get so caught up in trying to squint and peer at something we'll never be able to read in the vain hope that by doing so we'll find out all the answers; that by doing so we'll be magically transported to the corner of fulfillment and happiness.
So we squint and peer but the answers get no clearer so we sigh and we say "Oh well, I suppose they didn't know the Meaning of life with a capital "m" after all; I guess I'll look over here."
Yet we forget to look up, for if we did we might realize we're standing in the forest, and meaning is all around!
There's meaning in our relationships; in the love that we give and we get. There's meaning standing up to defend those that have no voice of their own. There's meaning fighting on just one more day when all you want to do is lie down and give up...
There's meaning in life, but only as much as we give it.
So let's stop looking for Meaning and start living lives that actually *mean* something.
"From this distant vantage point, the Earth might not seem of any particular interest. But for us, it's different. Consider again that dot. That's here. That's home. That's us. On it everyone you love, everyone you know, everyone you ever heard of, every human being who ever was, lived out their lives. The aggregate of our joy and suffering, thousands of confident religions, ideologies, and economic doctrines, every hunter and forager, every hero and coward, every creator and destroyer of civilization, every king and peasant, every young couple in love, every mother and father, hopeful child, inventor and explorer, every teacher of morals, every corrupt politician, every "superstar," every "supreme leader," every saint and sinner in the history of our species lived there – on a mote of dust suspended in a sunbeam.
The Earth is a very small stage in a vast cosmic arena. Think of the rivers of blood spilled by all those generals and emperors so that in glory and triumph they could become the momentary masters of a fraction of a dot. Think of the endless cruelties visited by the inhabitants of one corner of this pixel on the scarcely distinguishable inhabitants of some other corner. How frequent their misunderstandings, how eager they are to kill one another, how fervent their hatreds. Our posturings, our imagined self-importance, the delusion that we have some privileged position in the universe, are challenged by this point of pale light. Our planet is a lonely speck in the great enveloping cosmic dark. In our obscurity – in all this vastness – there is no hint that help will come from elsewhere to save us from ourselves.
The Earth is the only world known, so far, to harbor life. There is nowhere else, at least in the near future, to which our species could migrate. Visit, yes. Settle, not yet. Like it or not, for the moment, the Earth is where we make our stand. It has been said that astronomy is a humbling and character-building experience. There is perhaps no better demonstration of the folly of human conceits than this distant image of our tiny world. To me, it underscores our responsibility to deal more kindly with one another and to preserve and cherish the pale blue dot, the only home we've ever known."

Send me pick up lines for valentine's day ^_^
#1
*bumps into girl*
"Oh, sorry, I guess I'm just attracted to you..."
#2
*Give girl a piece of paper titled "Why you should date me."*
*plot twist*
It's actually a bunch of reason's why she's incredible; "You have eyes I could drown in" etc.
#3
*stare at a girl*
*she sees you*
"Sorry, but I just can't look away from a masterpiece."
Girl
When I tell you you’re beautiful I’m lying…
But I’m not lying to get into your pants;
I’m lying because if told you that when I look at you my heart forgets its duties, and the whole world fades to grey as the rest of our mundane reality pales in comparison to your radiant beauty, you wouldn’t believe me.
You’d laugh, smile, and say:
"I’m not that beautiful…"
And that would break my heart and shatter the pieces, because if I could have one single wish it would be this:
That you could look through my eyes know that they only see you; the most beautiful girl in the world.
I ♥ eyes
P.S. If you think too much about the word eyes it stops looking like a word and you have small panic attack: I eyed the eyes because the eyes eyed other eyes, aye?
English makes sense.
