❝    we’re back !! shino and i picked up some hot soup and some medicine .    ❞    kibashouted loud enough to be heard through the house , however , after hearing a small ,he soon realized shouting may have been a mistake . apologizing quietly , he and shinomade there way into the living room where she laid resting upon the couch . with theweather growing colder and flu season around the corner , it wouldn’t have taken longbefore one of them were sick . unfortunately , hinata was the first victim . akamaru rosefrom beside the couch , nuzzling her hand before strolling over to kiba and shino . 

❝    good job , akamaru . did she vomit or anything while we were away ??    ❞    waitingfor akamaru’s bark to indicate yes or no , kiba began to remove the contents from the bags .first , the soup and then the medicine . when the answer came , he thanked his friend andsettled down beside hinata to help lift her into a upright position . he looked her over , fromher tangled and knotted locks to the sheen layer of sweat covering her from head to toe .kiba hated to see her in such a state , but soon ( he hoped ) , she’d be back on her feet . 

with an arm around her waist , he held her upright to keep her from collapsing while shinopoured a small cup full of medicine . just the sight made him want to gag , he knew the tastewell , and if the smell was anything : it wasn’t going to taste very good . taking the cup fromhim , he lifted it to her lips to encourage her to open and take its contents .     ❝    just a quickswallow and all of it will be gone . shino will grab you some juice to help with the aftertaste .    ❞

as promised , shino rose from the armchair and walked to the kitchen to retrieve said juice .however , she had yet to open her mouth and kiba sighed heavily . maybe she was weakerthan he thought or there was the chance she was refusing the bitter tasting liquid . whatever the case , kiba held her a little tighter and pressed a kiss to her temple . he felt terrible for her .

so i finally came home and i’m very happy to sleep in my own bed .

a little heads up , there is some disgusting kissing in here . if you are not fond of someone’s face being licked , this isn’t the type of headcanon you’ll enjoy .

i will be putting this under a read more because it’s so long .
