Lark grabbed for his books and backpack, and stood up. He had a plan, and he was keen on following it. Whether or not it piqued Arbor’s interest, well… He would continue regardless. Company would be nice, though. 

Arbor hated the idea of following behind. Like a bored puppy or sommat. This saved her the pain of diligently working, though, and for that she stood, too, and went to stand beside him. “Alright.”

Lark paused, letting his smirk lessen. “I’ve got a mental idea.”

Put up or shut up.

“Don’t.”

Typical.

“You really shouldn’t jump out at people you know that right?”

Keep pointing your stick at a squib, then. Alriiighty.

Lark pulled out the chair across from Arbor, and plopped himself rather dramatically into the seat. “Rubbish for you, then.”

“How the fuck am I ever supposed to finish History of Magic now?” Arbor’s smirk remained as she pushed aside the assignment.
