Everything seems to be a background for Destiel to become canon and it’s really difficult not to get my hopes too high:

- Misha asking Jensen if he’s behind the Destiel tag in Twitter’s trending topics; Jensen answering that he blames Misha for this and for everything.

- It’s only April but Cockles got much gayer in the last few months than they were in the last few years.

- Did anyone else notice that Dean doesn’t get laid anymore? Like, I can only remember the Valentine’s Day episode where he’s got a hickey, but it’s not said that he actually did anything more than that. I can’t recall anyone else, (correct me if I’m wrong) which is suspicious because Dean used to flirt and hook up with women any time he got a chance. 

- He’s a got a gay crush instead :-)

- Dean pining for someone and being told to follow his heart

- 11x13 “Love hurts” which is full of subtext. Everything is beautifully explained in this post 

- The Julius Verne line from 11x14 (x)

- Dean being heartbroken when he finds out about Lucifer possesing Cas

I MEAN HEARTBROKEN; not sad, not upset, not just worried. Heartbroken. Completely torn apart. We have never witnessed something like this on his face before, not when it was about Cas. Not when Cas disappeared in the lake, not when stayed behind in Purgatory, This clearly shows some next level emotions that weren’t there before. It looks different and no one will convince me otherwise.

- Dean’s only goal is to save his angel and then beat Amara, God’s dark sister who can easily destroy the whole world, whom even the Death himself was afraid of;

- Generally Dean’s face in 11x18, full of pain, on the edge of tears, not being able to look Lucifer in the eyes. 

- The same face and voice turning soft and delicate when he realises he talks to Cas

- Dean not giving two shits about Amara standing only a few steps away from him, to whom he is supposed to be extremely drawn to –> because Cas is much more important. 

- The news about the Destiel hug,

- Jensen’s picture on Instagram in which Dean is wearing a plaid that literally looks like the bisexual pride flag. (x),(x) Oh, did I mention that apparently, in this scene Dean and Cas will sit in the Impala all alone?

That was JIBcon 2014, when Jensen was doing a panel and he started to seem really pretty frustrated and unhappy with the stuff he’d been given to do. This was his face:

Somebody with the staff noticed and ran and grabbed Misha, sending him out on stage like a human mood booster. He immediately did this:

Jensen’s whole demeanor entirely changed, he looked a bit flustered and started smiling.

So just looking at the above hugging gif makes me emotional because he’s just relaxing his whole body into Misha like he’s so relieved to have him there, like his tension is just melting away and everything is better. 

He certainly seemed plenty happier as they played out the scene from Hitch, didn’t he?
