Klonoa reunites with Huepow who wants to atone for his actions and eventually understands that even nightmares are part of a dream too. Upon accepting this fact, the world is reborn. 今回は前作の資産を活かして、早く低予算で完成させなければなりません。 だからと言って手抜きの作品を創ったら名折れです。 そこでこの両方を満たす戦略を考えていました。 一番作業が多くかかるのはグラフィックであり、また企画がレベルデザインする上でマップを作成し、調整するのも手間と時間がかかります。 これを前作の流用にすればコストが下げられるので、１作目のマップをそのまま流用しようと考えました。 それには使い回しする必然性がなくてはなりません。ならそれが必然になる設定やストーリーにすればいいんじゃないか。 そこでシナリオを一本書き上げたんです。 それは「帰ってきたファントマイル～３０００年前の謎」というタイトルでした。 前作のクロノアとヒューポーの別れの後、落ちていくクロノアの辿り着いた所は再びファントマイルだった！！ そこでレフィスの妹と出逢い、時を越える方舟で３０００年前のファントマイルにタイムワープします。 そこでは過去のガディウスとの出逢いがあり、ガディウスが氷に封じ込められるまでの顛末や、ヒューポーとの再会と贖罪、悪夢も夢の一部でそれを全て認めた時、世界は再生する…というような話でした。
