☾⁺˖ – i go by sydney! i'm 23, queer, and canadian! my favourite dinosaur is yutyrannus, my favourite Colour is Purple, and in my extra downtime i love playing d&d, drawing stuff like character designs and self portraits, being a dino online, and observing nature because it is just so cool !!!

☾⁺˖ – i used to be a super huge arachnophobe, like my legs would shake at the sight of a vacant spiderweb, but one day i had to share my shower with a bitty little false widow male and found him so cute and fascinating that i realized i wanted to observe more of them. i let him go free, but a day later found a false widow female in my bed, and then a week later a little wolf spider on my curtains, and so on... so here i am !!

☾⁺˖ – at the time of this post, i have 4 true spiders!! Zarra and Crocotta are my steatoda (borealis). i found both of them around my bed. Crocotta seems a bit younger, and Zarra is my OG spood, and still fucking gravid and making eggsacs. Sybaris is my pardosa wolf spider, god knows anything more specific than that, they're active and spunky but very small. i found them with 7 legs but they grew it back in their first molt with me!! and last but certainly not least is Karkinos, the ground crab spider (xysticus something or other?) i found just a couple days ago! all pictured below respectively 🕺
