I never introduced the Yawstrich on image 2 but his name is nilo!! :3 he was one of salem's first followers and salem's first ever spouse.

I really like drawing characters with bats.

Aahhhh new msm oc ref!!! I've actually had him for like 2-3 years but he's never had an actual ref until now!!!

Anywayz meet odoben!!! He was born with his tusks (along with his horns and tail spikes) not growing correctly, resulting in him not being able to play music from his tusks (his family, along with many other monsters, viewed him as a burden bc of this).

Odoben's parents sent him to a music school so he could find another instrument to play/learn. After making a new friend (a bowgart named Advaith) in the school, and hearing him play a beautiful song from his cello, it inspired Odoben to play the Cello as well (don't ask how he can play the cello with flippers 🥲🥲) <3

Astrid is a stoic and short-tempered shape-shifting alien who enjoys flying!!!

When she arrived in the monster world with her wife Dolly, a Yawstrich caught her eye (bc Yawstriches have wings and she wanted a new form that has wings) so she chose to shape-shift into one.

However, her shape-shifting ability isn't as good as dolly's so her purple base color stayed in her new form. Also Astrid REALLY loves space and wants to be an astronomer!! :3 she loves telling Dolly facts abt space <33
