The magma grunt was promptly set down as he whirled to stare in protest at his beloved pokemon. “But Mister Feathers! I-!” His protest was cut short by a irate squawk from the seagull pokemon

The small rebuke he gave his pokemon about begging treats from people was ignored as his pokemon continued to chirp happily at the stranger. 

Ignoring the irritated squawks of his pokemon, he turned to the other man, slightly sheepish and rubbing his fingers. “Say, you don’t know of any good pokemon food or berries that are good for slimming a flying type down, do you? I was actually looking around for some before heading here for a break.”

          “Hehehe, nah.”      Quickly and almost instinctively the casual Magma’s shoulders shook with silent laughter.  Maybe he was kidding himself, but what he had–or lacked was probably for the best.
